We had the $79 set menu at Zero Mode and it completely exceeded our expectations! Not only were the portion sizes very generous, but the quality and flavor of each dish were outstanding—well above what you’d expect for this price point.

One of the biggest (and best) surprises was the main courses. I initially thought we’d have to choose between the duck and the Wagyu, but to my delight, both came out! And they were absolutely phenomenal—perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully plated. Those two dishes were hands-down my personal favorites of the night.

From the fresh and vibrant appetizers to the indulgent burnt Basque cheesecake for dessert, everything was top-tier. For $79 per person, this set menu is a steal. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

We have been going to Zero mode for quite a while. From the breakfast to dinners we have never been disappointed. The serving sizes are more than generous. I literally roll out there. The quality and taste of the dishes are second to none. The latest set menu is so good I have been there twice in a few weeks. The set menus have always been amazing but the latest one is my absolute favourite. We have picky eaters in the family, Zero mode is our go to for a wonderful meal that everyone is more than happy with.

What a great spot for meeting up friends or dating with someone! The atmosphere is cosy!li love the decorations that it looks gorgeous in pictures! 🩷Tankasu and 🧡Truffle scramble eggs,💚Double Wagyu cheese burger are must try!!The food there is incredibly delicious! I love their prawn roll and coffee too! Highly recommended! I will definitely come back!

We have been coming to Zero mode quite a few different occasions. We love their variety of different dishes. The staff was always polite and friendly. I think Zero mode is the best Asian fusion restaurant in the area.👌👍

I recently visited Zero Mode – a stylish cafe meets modern Asian-Australian restaurant in Box Hill! I tried a few of their signature dishes, starting with the Tonkatsu Bowl – crispy, juicy, and seriously satisfying. Next up, the Double Sher Wagyu Cheese Burger – packed with flavour and totally indulgent. The Duck Mode Poke Bowl was fresh and vibrant, perfect for a lighter bite.

For drinks, I went with the Iced Coffee topped with a smooth coffee panna cotta, and the Strawberry Freeze with lychee and rose panna cotta – both were sweet and refreshing. Zero Mode definitely knows how to impress with their creative dishes and drinks!

Good Asian fusion cafe in box Hill. We came here for some lunch and we got the chicken poke ball, Wagyu Poké ball and chiraishi.

Chirashi was good and fresh, Wagyu poke bowl was appropriately tender and included tasteful flavours. The chicken poke bowl was amazing, great sauce and good side of ginger.

The staff were nice and food didn’t take too long to get ready.

Most practical boozy dinner i had and they have non alcoholic too for those driving or just don’t feel like drink. Their menu consists of 1 main for 2 for $69 pp. We had dry aged duck with buns with a side of pumpkin, 4 entrees and with additional $40 you get unlimited drinks for 2 hours. they have wine, beer, cocktails and a lot more. For the entrees we had duck croquettes and lobster prawn toast which is my favourite out of all. the toast was crispy and the lobster toppings were on point and portion was very generous. The place was cozy and the staffs were very attentive too so you can get as much drinks as you want.
