I was in the hospital and went to grab a bite. The staff is super friendly. Their pesto gnochhi was so good that I would like to go back to eat it again. Surprised to find such amazing food in a hospital.

I don’t know if it’s new management but it’s absolutely horrible. Food and the service.

Fried rice is so dry. Chilli chicken didn’t taste good at all. $17.50 as well. Lol so not worth it.

And the people serving the food. A bunch of guys who are rude and no smile whatsoever. Jeez hire some people who can talk to a customer or even smile.

$12 for the worst egg and bacon muffin of my life and an apple juice. The muffin was burnt cold and squished within an inch of its life. I couldn't eat it, it was awful. This place has never been good. If there was some sort of competition in the hospital they would go out of business for sure.

I’ve visit this large cafe in BoxHill Hospital 3 times, it’s the only one in the Hospital - I ‘much’ prefer Epworth 100 metres away
I am Coelic (gluten free like 8% of Aust population)
Every food item has an allergy tag stating Gluten, even the rice & vegetables.

1st visit I ask for GF toastie and lass searched and brought out 2 bits (not slices, bits) of unlabelled glad wrap bread from the fridge - forget it, BUSY cafe should be fresh EVERY day or chuck it out.

I go to Epworth - yum

Another day I buy a very yummy Curry after a chat with staff assured me gf, taste good no problems - bloody hot as

Today, Zeal, all food labelled GOT Gluten - I asked & he laugh no no Fried rice ok and Vegetables ok. I order, not bad just food to keep me going and Alive for a few hours.

Box Hill Doncaster Glen Waverley/Monash is the drop area for this large hospital, it’s hugely Aussie Asian Chinese area.

I am staggered NIL Chinese food - knock me over no Chinese food I gaze around no chinese people to be seen - whooo there’s a lass over there - eating her home made brought lunch !!

No Salads. No vegetarian. Almost Nil GF Huge Chinese population - who cares?, almost no Chinese visit - Zeal’s loss

Just seem silly - the cafe presented clean, noisy, large hot serveries, Sanga bar, crazy busy coffee counter Mainly Indian continent style food with some pies & chips

Gluten Free & Vegetarian are must haves - you a crazy business you need to consider a review to your direction

I cannot believe this world and this cafe I ask for a toasted cheese croissant. The cheese and the ham is non-existent They are so tight they squeak when they walk

Coffee is so bad it’s un-drinkable. All the food is overpriced and crappy quality. Such a shame they don’t offer better and more affordable options for patients and visitors

I have been a frequent visitor to BHH and have eaten here a number of times the last few months. I don't understand all the complaints.

There are a lot of choices and the prices are comparable to the prices at other places. The quality also isn't terrible as some commenters have made it out to be.

I've purchased food from different areas and the staff were always helpful and polite.
