This place rocks for all coffee, cold drinks or feeling like a snack before or after work. I could even stay there all day working. There is free WiFi and the seating is awesome, especially for us old boys.

Paid $7.70 for Masai soy latte. Not even half full, 60% was foam. Returned it to the counter, no apology but replaced with one that is about 3/4 full. Not unlike ordering a schooner of beer and being served less than half a glass. Who thinks this is OK

Inconsistent coffee, should take coffee fusion off the menu as no one knows how to make them. One day good 7 days not. When you pay $9.70 a day for a coffee you would expect quality this is far from I have gone to all locations in Townsville and all are the same. There is no attention to detail to stuff these up is confusing. I have been having Zarraffa’s everyday but unfortunately the last time is today!

I've been there twice now, ordered a mocca, but these girls have no idea how to make a mocca. If a mocca is made correctly it won't need any sugar. I went home, opened the cup up and found no chocolate in the coffee. The colour of the coffee is supposed to be more of a chocolate colour, but it was more of a coffee colour. Added my own chocolate and suddenly the mocca tasted great. Very disappointed in this place as I have always told everyone that Zarafas have the best coffee ever...

I had the absolute worst overpriced flat white I’ve ever had the displeasure of drinking from the drive through. It was also the most expensive and then there was the upsell… I was asked if I had a card, I asked how do I obtain one… you have to pay for it. Glad I declined!!! I won’t make that mistake again. Oh and it wasn’t quicker because I drove through

Zarraffa's The Lakes is levels above other cafe's in Townsville. It really is the perfect spot if you are wanting to meet with friends, find a quiet place to hang out, or get work done. Staff are lovely, quick to serve and deliver, and are reliable. Prices are fair and the quality of food and drink is really good. You can't go wrong.
