We discovered the Zamia Theatre a few years ago by accident, a hidden jewel. The Zamia Theatre is like getting in a time machine and going back 50 years, when little things like courtesy and a smile mattered. Apart from the fact the Movies, Ice-creams and Drinks are really cheap, Zamia has this wonderful atmosphere. We constantly bump into the same wonderful locals. After a great Movie, try some of the Cafes and Restaurants, all close by. Spice of Life a few doors down is our favourite. A wonderful way to spend the first Saturday of the month, if time permits.

The Zamia Theatre is a very special part of Tamborine Mountain! The beautiful polished timber floor is perfect for dances and the old style canvas seating is very comfortable. A variety of activities are offered here.
