While in Thredbo, we came across this restaurant and decided to try their pizza and Sticky Asian Chicken Wings. Both dishes were just okay, nothing particularly noteworthy. The chicken wings were slightly undercooked, a bit wet, and overwhelmed by too much ABC sauce. Five more minutes in the oven would have made them more to my liking. The pizza was also quite ordinary. However, the prices were reasonable, so it wasn’t overly expensive.

Let’s hope Zack can revive Mowamba place with coffee after 1pm ? and potential drinks until 11pm … ? the day time menu is very good and reliable and, for the mountains, more creative than most. I would love to see a schnitzel on there as the village lacks a good quality daytime schnitzel but perhaps that might be too same same . Anyway - well done Zack and wishing you continued success.

Their bacon and eggs very poor the eggs were uncooked on top lots of raw white and that only give the eye peace of the bacon and completely overcooked the toastie my partner had. On the up side the staff were very nice and friendly

Would never pay $35 for laksa in Sydney, however this is the best mountain food I’ve had here and the most reasonably priced lol. Yum and fresh. Great veg and gf options. The coffee is pretty good too! Definitely recommend

Went here for a Sunday lunch for 4 people. We were a bit lucky it was not too crowded at that time. We got the Beef Laksa, Prawn Laksa, Pork Ramen and some dumplings. We also tried the Golden Ale Beer and mulled wine.

The best meal here in my opinion is the Laksa. The broth tastes like the real thing so kudos to the chef! The beef in the laksa is almost crumbling when you eat it so it seems like it has been stewed for a long time. The Prawn Laksa is also good according to my friends who tried it.

I got the Pork Ramen and I feel it was pretty okay-ish. I guess I am a bit biased since I prefer shoyu based ramen as compared to miso based ones. Overall, it was acceptable.

The final thing worth mentioning is the price. It was pretty steep as compared to other restaurants in the area($36 for the Laksa). However, if you like something pretty decent that is not a steak, burger or loaded chips, I say go for it!

5 star for the food. 3 stars for the price. $36 was the most I have ever paid for a chicken laksa. That said the quality was up there with the best I have had at Malaysian hawker style restaurants. Compliments to the chef! Central location. Good coffee
