Basic but clean room , quiet area ,under cover parking. TV was a little small and situated up high on the wall. The room was clean with a 2seater lounge ,chairs and table and a well stocked kitchenette.|Would do better with a suitable heater in the bathroom as it was may and canberra can be quiet cool .

Overall enjoyed our stay. Could do with some maintenance checks. Our room was very roomy with good heating. Nice outlook over golf course. Quiet, and slept well. Light rail nearby. Food was fantastic, we were disappointed the restaurant wasn't open very often so check that out.

Unfortunately our room was very dirty. I raised it with the Club in the morning (because the Club was closed when we arrived), no apology but they did clean the room better for our second night.
Lucky the bed was comfy, the water pressure good and the air conditioning worked.

Would I return? No

Good location. Wasn't very clean we had to wash dishes and electric fry pan before use. Heater and bathroom fan grills full of dust. Heater worked well. Bed ok. Traffic noise loud in early morning. Did have a hedge to block out the busy road. Undercover parking. Good dark curtains. Lounge was sunk in the middle.

NO WIFI!! Made the mistake of not checking because it's usually expected these days, our fault. Room was dirty. TV is probably the size of your hand. Dishes are dirty so if you want to use them make sure you clean them first. The heater would only have hot air for about an hour. You only get about 5-10 minutes of hot water a day for showers. Overrall would never come again, there's a reason why it's so cheap. Only plus I'd give is the location.

Destroyed over 800 mature trees with zero consultation, during nesting season and while government oversight agencies were closed for Christmas. Did not even use the resulting timber, simply wood chipped everything. Bulldozed a small lake with established ecosystem and wildlife. No emails replied to, no calls returned. Disgusting behaviour from Yowani and complete disregard for neighbouring communities and resident wildlife.

Staff were amazingly friendly... Room - value for $$$. However, the bathroom was not cleaned properly and we still had used towels from last guest.. I cleaned the shower as the soap dish was filthy.. When we moved the couch there was rubbish under neath.

After looking online, I rang direct and asked about booking a Deluxe Single room for 3 adults (one queen bed and one twin bed) and was told they have another room type that has one queen and a pull out sofa that would work out cheaper, so I went with that. Well, the sofa mattress was about 1 inch thick. Not suitable for comfort for a child much less an adult. The adult that had this bed option ended up using the sofa lounge cushions as the mattress. So in my rating the sleep quality was averaged between "0 star terrible" for the sofa and "5 star excellent" for the queen bed, so I gave an "3 star average" rating. Both Wotif & Expedia websites state free wi-fi for all room types, but when I rang reception to ask which network to log into, I was told 'oh no we only have a small modem that doesn't work that far down' what? really? I was then told I can get wi-fi in the club or the bistro, just not in the rooms. I felt very deceived about the wi-fi as that was a factor in booking this accommodation over others. The bathroom was freshly grouted (we were told on arrival) which was great, but it didn't do a lot to lift the standard, basic room and overall tired look of the room. The queen bed was very comfortable, and it was good to have a mini kitchenette with a small dining table in the room. For parking, there is room numbers painted on the concrete parking bays, they are worn and you can't read them properly, so everyone parks where-ever and you may not get a spot near your room - we didn't. Overall, this accommodation is decent value for money, just don't use the sofa as a bed and don't expect wi-fi in room as you wont get it.
