A wonderful hotel with good prices and in a great location. We showed up past the hours of reception looking for a room after an issue with the hotel we were supposed to be staying in that night, and the gentlemen who helped me was very kind. A historic building and the rooms and furniture represent that, a hotel with some charm. The rooms aren’t anything special but they have super neat and comfortable beds that you won’t see in many other hotels and the bedroom and bathroom are both are extremely spacious. Some might say that the style of the room could be a bit outdated but for a building like this it’s very fitting. The rooms are also extremely clean, and have great aircon.

The one and only issue we had with the room was the pressure in the shower head was very harsh, but other than that not a single complaint.

Dumme Kunst

Basic hotel room. Aircon and fan works great. Fridge. Good bathroom, great water pressure and temperature. Right near the beach and a short walk to clubs and bars and eateries. In need of a little update here and there (the chair cushions were very dirty, drawer missing from bedside table etc) but overall it's a great place to stay.

Bradford Wells

The room was spacious and clean. The owner takes pride in his establishment and mingles with guests. All staff were very friendly and supportive. The room was well appointed and current. The location was near many restaurants and attractions. This place is my fist choice to stay in Townsville. The value for money is good.

Was greeted by a beautiful, kind lady at reception who was happy to walk us through.
The rooms are one of the cleanest motel rooms I’ve stayed in, despite being dated they are spacious and very comfortable. Excellent location and the pool is also kept nice.

Older rooms, older Furniture but absolutely comfortable, Clean great value for money. Close to The Strand, The Ville, The Stadium, Castle Hill, Flinders Street etc. Big Shout out to Nicky. Beautiful, Bubbly and the Perfect Hostess. We will continue to stay at Historic Yongala Lodge. ?

This hostel has charm and is decently priced. The staff is amazing and very helpful! They have a nice little pool and BBQ's you can use for maling dinner.
The rooms could do with an upgrade, but are good enough for adecent sleep. The AC works well.

I was blacklisted from booking a room ith Yongala with no reasoning why I was blacklisted. I have never even stayed at this place. I have always paid my bills and left rooms tidy. This is racism and I am being unfairly blacklisted.

The receptionist was rude don't stay there.
