Pittwater Eco Retreat is a Magic Hidden Gem that I am so glad I know about now. So close to Sydney's CBD yet so far from reality

I Just left the Creative Retreat. I feel so refreshed. So inspired. As an animal painter this is the best place to come and reconnect with nature and paint it the same time. The Birds, All the Aussie natives! The trees, the water activities. All so good.

Thank you Katie and Bergia for making this place so special and and eco traveler's dream.

Wonderful place to spend a few days. You can relax around the property or near the water or you can be as active as you want with paddle boards and kayaks available to hire.

Likewise, you can also choose to have everything done for you and opt for catered or you can sort yourself and cook!

The team are super helpful and the on-site coffee just what you need in a morning.

Thanks to Amy for a great weekend!

I stayed here for 4 nights with my family, including a 3 year old and a 7 month old. We had THE most wonderful time. Lots of wonderful walks, swims, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. It was so picturesque and peaceful and we are already planning our return. Strongly recommend!

Everything you need for a get-away into nature. I stayed for 2 weekends, one in Oct and one in Dec. It was peaceful reading in the hammock on the porch watching the cockatoos soar by.
The bedroom and bathroom facilities were clean and the kitchen had a lot of space so no issues with a few groups cooking at once. The hosts know a lot about the area and recommended hiking tracks and made sure we were aware of things like ticks in high grass.
Looking forward to going back soon!

I was looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle of Sydney for a couple of days, a needed somewhere quiet, in the nature where I could go hiking and swimming. A friend suggested me the Pittwater YHA and he was spot on: a beautiful, rustic building you can reach only by a short walk from the wharf, fantastic view on the bay, breakfast surrounded by wallabies, magpies, goannas and cockatoos, plenty of room in the common areas, cosy lounge with fireplace, Kayaks available, bushwalking tracks all around in the beautiful Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. ||Perfectly clean and tidy, both in rooms (also, the best sleep I had in months!) and common areas. The owners, Sarah and Michael, extremely kind and passionate about nature, take very good care of their guests and have great bushwalking tips. ||A place where I immediately felt at home. In general, very positive vibes and atmosphere: it was hard to leave but will certainly go back!

Beautiful place. Very clean. Great kitchen facilities, even have filtered tap water, great shared areas, room was clean and a good temperature. Really caring friendly staff who helped me be safe while bushwalking alone, very unique atmosphere. Also, the view!
Just beware the place is quite isolated and no shops etc so bring supplies, although they sell barista coffee there
