It’s officially settled—Yellow Bernard brews the best coffee in Hobart! After countless disappointing cups around the city, we finally stumbled upon this little coffee haven, and wow—our taste buds rejoiced! Despite only having piccolo & cappuccino, we have served with the best too.

I'm a regular at another coffee place in town so didn't really want to give you guys a five star review (because loyalty 🫡) but I gotta be honest...the coffee you served up took me back to Paris- at considerably less cost than what the airfare would be! Many thanks and highly recommended 🙏

Perfection.

Amongst the best coffees I’ve ever had, came here every day of my trip to Hobart. Don’t miss the cold brew- not usually my thing but it came highly recommended and I see why! Service was impeccable. Wish it were closer to home, I’d continue going everyday!

Owner is awesome. Coffee is great, front of house staff are rude and obnoxious, and will serve based on preference rather than who is waiting in line. If you have all the time in the world go for it, if you’re on your way to work go next door.

** looks like staff are Flexible on truth too. If I’m first in line why would I be overlooked for someone who is still undecided about there order and not waiting in line?

Very good coffee and their cafe deserves their high Google rating. They put in a shot more than other cafes so you are given a coffee that is strong and robust in flavour, ie. 12 ounce coffee will have 3 shots. Sadly they are not open on the weekend, so I’ll be an infrequent patron, but I’ve found a cafe that can compete with Ed’s coffee on Bathurst.
