This Japanese restaurant is located in Bulimba and they serve a nice variety of Japanese dishes including bentos, yakitori, sashimi, pasta and many more.

We tried 📸:

• Tonkotsu Ramen (Pork)
• Tonkatsu
• Wagyu Bento
• Tori Karaage

I’m a huge fan of Japanese cuisine and I can confidently say this place is totally worth the visit! I loved the Ramen and the Yakitori. The ramen especially, had a very unique flavour and easily one of the best I’ve had in Brisbane. The Karaage was also delicious 💯

The service was great and the food came out pretty quickly ✅

Highly recommend checking them out! There’s parking on the street and in the carpark (entrance is right next to the restaurant) 🙌

Hands down my fave place for the chicken katsu curry rice bowl! I don’t know why but the curry here hits different. It’s like they have a secret ingredient other Japanese restaurants aren’t doing.

Always keep coming back for this one curry dish!

The food is slightly overpriced. At the same time, the portion is not large enough. Also, there are card surcharges, making the bill more expensive.

I ordered the Wagyu Yakisoba and green tea. The tea is good but the Yakisoba is a bit oily and lacks flavour.

I visited here for a family dinner without any high expectations but it was actually one of the best restaurants I've been to recently. First of all, the atmosphere was lovely. I loved how the restaurant wasn't too big, it felt very quiet and cozy. I got a table near the entrance so I could see the sun setting while enjoying the food which was very relaxing. We ordered mainly sashimi and yakitori. Sashimis were so fresh and delicious, it did not smell at all. One of the best sashimi I've ever had. Yakitoris were even better. The food were served in pretty plates which were very aesthetic too. Service was just decent.

I've dined in GC one before. It also offer the good Japanese dining vibe.
- Calamari Tempura is crunchy and well-seasoned!
- Char-grilled beef and mushroom are juicy and tender. Salmon and pork belly relatively normal.
- Bento box comes with various side dishes but not that impressive. However, it is in pretty big potion.
- Grilled pork chop in Ramen is thick and big.

NASU DENGAKU PASTA IS AMAZING!!
I and my family visited for dinner, ordered yellow lemonade which was tangy and sour to just satisfy my pregnancy craving , mushroom negima and squid karaage were perfect in texture and flavour and our mains, Salmon tartare- so good with fresh salmon(no old fishy smell) and Nasu dengaku pasta was just AMAZING! We are not vegeterians but it was definitely worth to try.

I love their thoughtful customer service as they bring everything we need before we even ask! 🙂

Unfortunately really overpriced for the quality of food served ($95 for 2 with a range of options, no drinks). Far better food available elsewhere in the city or around sunnybank area. I am quite shock this place has a high rating.

The sashimi platter was average at best, the wagyu beef yakitori was dry and tough, and the karaage had KFC-like breading (not potato starch battered like most places). The stir fries they have is probably the only acceptable food.

Don’t come here unless you really have no other options. We only ate here because we wanted to catch a movie after - never again.

Decided on Yatai, as we have been to their other venue.

Wasn't busy and only 1 other couple eating, so food would come out quickly.

Ordered the Yakitori platter with the 12 skewers, 2 bowls of rice, 3 lychee teas and a beer

Quick and friendly service and food came out soon enough. Everything is tasty and we finished off everything
