Glenda and Kevin were excellent hosts and made us feel really welcome. We left feeling we’d known them for a long time. The location was brilliant for a relaxed stay and we wished we’d booked in for longer than the one night. The breakfast was as good as we’ve had. We loved it, especially after seeing the kangaroos in the 10 acre garden.|Nothing not to like and we even had plenty of parking for our Mickey Mouse MG 🙂

We stayed two nights and what a delightful place to stay. Kevin and Glenda were the most amazing hosts, it was like staying with some good friends. The homestead had everything and more, lovely open plan rooms, very spacious with own facilities. Opened onto a veranda where you could while away the hours and if lucky see kangaroos hopping past in the afternoon. The breakfast was amazing, anything you wanted- a kitchen with everything including a microwaive, fridge and crockery and cutlery so. Lovely and clean and so many places to sit around the place. The pool well maintained with a spa. Lots of interesting places nearby to visit in need but who wanted to leave the Homestead

When we arrived mid-afternoon, Ken was just finishing mowing the grass, so we were greeted by Glenda. Ken soon joined us. They both offered to help us with our luggage as we also had a lot of medical equipment. We were given the choice of two bedrooms as we were the only guests that day (they were leaving for a trip to N.Z two days later). We chose the room with a king size bed. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and the soft furnishings were fabulous as well as being co-ordinated. We also had a TV, DVD player, robes, toiletries, fridge and much more. Our room opened onto a large veranda and in turn a fabulous garden. There are also shared amenities including a kitchenette and a large, spacious lounge with dining area. Glenda offered us afternoon tea which we enjoyed in the lounge with herself and Ken and, later, before we went out for our evening meal, invited to join them in thee lounge for pre- dinner drinks and sacks. Breakfast the next morning was set up on the patio area just outside the lounge. The choice was incredible: cereal, yoghurts, fresh fruit and a large choice of hot breakfast from the incredible menu. When I ordered pancakes ( along with fruit), I was also offered ice cream! We were really sad that we only had one night there as we were paying a flying visit to Brisbane. Unfortunately we were unable to book our return visit three days later as Ken and Glenda were off to N.Z. They were the most amazing hosts as well as being very friendly. We would not hesitate to recommend them to any other travellers. The Yarrahapinni Homestead is truly a home from home. We will definitely book to stay there again on a return visit to Australia and stay for much longer. Thank you Ken and Glenda for making our stay so comfortable and welcoming.

We stayed just one night with Kevin and Glenda, but wished it could have been more. An idyllic spot for relaxing and getting away from it all. And the reviews are true.. the best breakfast around! Thanks for a lovely stay and your local knowledge, we hope to be back.

My friend and I were on a bike ride from Brisbane to Sydney and after 4 days we arrived at the homestead tired and hungry. We met Kevin and Glenda who looked after us like their own. They fed us well, clothed us (in clean bath robes), washed our clothes and entertained us over dinner with wonderful conversation. I would love to come back and would recommend the homestead to anyone - forget corporate / chain accomodation and book here!

The property is purpose built for B&B and has spacious rooms with large ensuites and sliding door access to a deck overlooking the immaculate grounds, TV, DVD, fridge, robes, towels, toiletries, cushions, chairs and even lap blankets for cool evenings. Shared facilities include a comfortable lounge room, a utilities room with laundry and kitchen facilities and dining areas. Immaculate attention to detail has been paid to ensure that your every wish is taken care of. Breakfast was outstanding, with a large selection of fresh fruits, cereals, yoghurt as well as a choice of hot food including traditional egg & bacon with all the trimmings, pancakes and porridge, served at your convenience. We had an early start, so we expected to get limited breakfast, but the hosts Kevin and Glenda were only too obliging and offered full breakfast service at 5:30am. We also had pre-dinner drinks in the lounge and were offered afternoon tea. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a little piece of peaceful paradise slightly off the beaten track, but still only a short drive from beaches and dining.

Truly memorable!||||Kevin and Glenda were a fountain of ideas as what to visit plus directions to get there.||||The homestead was warm and welcoming and tastefully decorated. The beautiful garden had a barbecue and sitting areas. The homestead provides extras normally reserved for 5 star hotels (bathrobes, port and sherry decanters always full etc etc ).||||Breakfast with other guests was relaxed and the food was delicious.||||The coastline is easily reached only about 20 minutes away.||||If we are in the area again we will undoubtedly return. Thanks for the stay.||||Colin and Verity

This B&B is a gem set in peaceful surroundings with first class accommodation and close to many local attractions. Mine hosts Kevin and Glenda are special people and their friendliness and knowledge of the area is an attraction in itself. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting that break from city life or looking for a rural experience with a difference.
