Booked a table in advance for Fathers Day. When we got here we were given an outside table, about as far away from anyone else as possible, right next to a stack of children's chairs. Made me wonder what the point of booking was. Thought it meant getting a good table. We could hear people inside having a great time, but we were cut off from seeing it or being part of the lively hustle that is the ambience of visiting such a place. This disappointed me no end.

The food was good, presented beautifully and tasty too. Initially the waitress forgot to bring cutlery. I can't say the staff were particularly friendly either.

Probably won't return.

XS Menai is a cafe serving indulgent Australian fare with a focus on the indulgence!

The food is fantastic. Really high quality ingredients and impeccable presentation elevate the dishes completely, and make their chicken and waffles easily the best I've had anywhere. Prices are reasonable and portion sizes are good.

The coffee is good, and with a variety of indulgent options on offer (be warned, they all need a good stir before each sip!). Even the babycino has incredible attention to details and makes the experience a joy.

There's indoor and outdoor seating, as well as ample parking and highchairs available.

This isn’t the first time my kids have been disappointed with the portion being significantly smaller.

Pic on the left was $8 and the pic on the right was $10 and it was nearly half the size!! My kids don’t want to go back.

You pay a lot of money for these desserts. A little bit of consistency would be good!!

This has to be my favourite café/restaurant in Sydney!

Friendly service, attentive & passionate staff ❤️

All the dishes I tried were so delicious, my favourite was the fried chicken ?

But all the dishes were mouthwatering! Omg and the desserts were to die for!

Biscoff heaven right there! If you visit, make sure you don’t miss out on the desserts! Especially the biscoff pancake!

Located @ Menai central down next to the petrol station ? It was easy to find, and they have parking spots in front of the venue.

Open until 10pm! I love that! Highly recommended. Definitely the best spot in the shire.

Loved the relaxing vibe, ambience and service! Super popular so it’s worth visiting!

Had that Avo Smash with poached eggs on the side and loved it! Staff was very friendly and orders were served swiftly. Pricing is reasonable and taste excellent! Will def come back for more. Great work !

CONCERN ABOUT CLEANLINESS. The waitress wore the same gloves to clean up, press down the rubbish in the bin, pick up fresh strawberries and pick up food. We observed this while waiting for like 5-10min just for a takeaway donut.
