The room we were given we were told had air conditioning and a cot. It had neither, we had to leave because it was so stuffy and was hotter in the room then out of it. The staff were wonderful though. There is no parking around apart from $30 base rate a block away

There was no meals on a Sunday for lunch just snacks. We were originally meant to get into our room by 2pm but I couldn't get in till 3pm. We had ceiling fans that turned off with the lighting so was a warm night. We did have the option of plug in aircons. Overall a good size room for a family and shared facilities.

We didn't stay at the hotel but the pub was fantastic. My Ceasar salad was the best. Service was absolutely wonderful: friendly, efficient, and really caring. The food coming out of the kitchen looked great.

Stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. It really exceeded my expectations since I saw a lot of negative comments about the noise and the cleanliness. The shared bathrooms are clean and can only hear minimal noise from outside during night- they provide earplugs in case you need one. The bed and sheets are clean and comfortable. Staffs are great and very accommodating. On top of that, the location was so great and very accessible to public transportation. We will surely be back whenever we come back in Sydney. ☺️

Great value! I would come again. Plenty of co-ed bathrooms and so I felt like I had my own.

Noisy but I didn’t mind. Value trumped. Windows open which was a nice treat for fresh air

They use a the same key for all the rooms.
We ended up accidentally opening up another room with our key.
We didn’t feel safe staying knowing anyone can come in.
We didn’t stay the night, we were not refunded. When we told the staff, all they said was sorry we’ll tell management.

Room was clean and tidy.
No towels, even after I asked I still didn’t get any. Don’t expect to sleep with the window open, noisy. Staff friendly, did not eat or drink there.

The Loka Boka

The hotel, if you can even call it that, more like a hostel, works by the fact that the location is fantastic, everything else is kinda lacking. The reception is the bar itself and the stairs up are steep and difficult to traverse if you have trouble walking. The rooms themselves are dusty and very minimal. The road beside the hotel is sure to keep you up throughout the whole night. The bathrooms are not private but were decent. No breakfast either, but there is conveniently a shop righty by it. Other than price and location it’s pretty bad, but on a budget it works
