I used to think this was the best gym on the Gold Coast, but over the past two months, I’ve noticed a significant change. The welcoming, friendly, family-like atmosphere that set this gym apart seems to have faded. It now feels sterile and clinical.

Sadly, many of the lovely staff members who created such a positive environment are no longer there. While I mean no disrespect to the new team, the level of engagement just isn’t the same – even a simple "hello" in the morning seems too much to ask.

I’m not sure what has caused this shift, but something has clearly changed. I genuinely hope the gym can return to its former glory – a place where members felt a true sense of belonging and were inspired to pursue their fitness goals. Please, bring back that special atmosphere that made this gym so exceptional.

This gym is a joke. On week days it says they close at 9:30pm for staff hours but run 24/7 hours. Came in at 9:25pm with two of my friends who are visiting Gold Coast and wanted to get a pump in. The staff member said they couldn’t take any casuals or any payments because he has already done the count for the coins and eftpos machine. He also proceeded to say if we wanted to come for a sesh the latest would be by 9:15pm but contradicted himself trying to back track what he says and tell us that all casuals have to leave the gym by 9:30pm. You can clearly see the staff member was just in a rush to go home and trying to use every excuse under the sun just so me and mates couldn’t enter when it’s a simple job but old mate was too lazy to do a 2 second job because he already had the mindset of knocking off. I’ve worked in a gym 24/7 gym before and we don’t do the money count until the actual advertised closing time. Plus when a casual pays before closing time they are allowed to stay until they finished their workout including after hours. I also worked at a retail store before and we took all payments from customers till the very last second and then we do the count for the money and turn off all eftpos machines once the store is supposed to closed on advertised time. This was on Monday 10/02/2025. I’m not sure if this is the culture of this gym or if the staff is just lazy and didn’t want to serve us. Definitely not worth coming back here again if they aren’t even welcoming.

I've been coming to Worlds Gym for over three years and I absolutely love it. They treat my babies are their own. I absolutely love reformer. It has changed my life. I have lost so much weight and toned my tummy. I used to be able to fit three fingers, with separation now I have one and I'm nearly completely free of the gap. They have been wonderful support postpartum and I cannot rate the Staff enough. They have all been absolutely fantastic and made me feel very comfortable in all situations. I highly recommend Worlds Gym Coomera and it's a five star from me.
They are amazing ❤️🤎

It’s not the best World Gym I’ve trained at but it’s also not the worst. I do think with the growth of the Coomera/Pimpama areas that the gym has reached capacity and isn't aging very well and it’s perhaps time to find a new and bigger site. During peak hours it’s impossible to find a park let alone train here, it’s that crowded you can barely move and it’s kind of a hazard. Machines and cables really starting to show their age and need some love or replacing. But overall it’s ok.

I usually train at world gym in Brendale but visit Sanctuary Cove as we a boat moored there so I come to Coomera World Gym to get my sweat on.

The gym has everything you'd expect from a World Gym and most of the equipment is extensive and top notch.

My only criticism is that they need to replace some of the Cardio equipment as it is extremely worn and dated and most of the TV'S are broken or on the way out.

5 stars to be had once these two things are fixed.
