The welcome was genuinely warm, the accommodation was very comfortable and our dog was also made very welcome. We felt so relaxed here. Dinner was a pleasant, simple meal offered for a very reasonable price and was shared with our hosts. Breakfast was ample and made to order. The owners, Peter and Leanne, seem to genuinely love this work and it shows in the way they treat their guests. We felt like we had spent a night with friends. Highly recommended.

We just spent 2 nights at Wootton Guest House over the Easter break and it was a really lovely place to stay and excellent value for money. Peter and Leanne are so hospitable and down-to-earth and make you feel right at home. We ate breakfast together and it was like chatting to old friends! The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. The location is also great if you have a car - easy to access the national parks and attractions nearby and Bulahdelah is only about 5 minutes' drive away. I would thoroughly recommend Wootton Guest House to anyone.

Spent a weekend with a craft group and thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the guesthouse was ideal.||The accommodation is very comfortable, modern private bathrooms, all is very clean. ||Hosts, 'Pete & Leanne' are just lovely. Very friendly, welcoming and ensure everyone is well accommodated. Lovely home cooked meals. Look forward to returning.

My wife and I spent two nights at the Wootton guest house, and it was a delightful experience. The house is recently custom built by Peter, the owner and his wife Leanne, and has 4 guest rooms, including a large family bedroom. It is situated on the edge of the tiny village of Wootton, surrounded by native bush, and is a real haven for wildlife watchers. The rooms were spotless, and we had the family room which included a wet room/shower room. The hosts were very welcoming and we had breakfast in the kitchen diner with them and other guests, which great for chatting and swapping stories about where to visit etc. It's a pet friendly guest house and they have a lovely little dog who welcomes everyone when they first arrive.||There are no tv or tea/coffee making facililties in the bedrooms, if you want a drink, you can use the kitchen. We found this fine, but other visitors might miss the convenience of having them in your own room.||Evening meals can be provided by arrangement with the hosts, and give visitors the chance to socialise over a glass of wine - much better than sitting in your room watching tv!||Wootton is a good base for visiting the surrounding national parks and coastal resorts with their pristine beaches. Thoroughly recommended.

Myself and three friends stayed in the family room, for the long weekend in October. Peter and Leanna were very helpful in recommending places to eat and go. The beds were comfy and the tranquility of the surrounding area was just what we were looking for after living in Sydney. Best nights sleep I've had in ages. The breakfast the next morning was more than substantial. Would definitely recommend for a nice weekend away.

We have just returned from a weekend in Wootton attending a cattle dog trial, staying a Wootton Guest House was an absolute delight, Peter and Leanne were great hosts, nothing was too much trouble, another bonus was the huge number of birds of many kinds in the garden, we had a great time photographing them. The room was spotless and we felt very relaxed. I would highly recommend Wootton Guest House.

We stayed for two single nights a week apart. After the first visit we were really looking forward to staying there once more (even though we would be nearing the end of our holiday)., The hosts are just lovely and nothing is too much trouble. the accommodation - bed, bathroom and house - were all lovely with every need catered for. Our little dog was welcome and spoilt rotten. Breakfast was lovely and our hosts (who are great company) even cooked us dinner. I'd stop there again - any day!

What a find! We had this place recommended at short notice. The night we stayed the local community has their veggie swap with sharing a meal and movie just a short walk up the hill.. We had the privacy we needed with a welcoming cup of tea and breakfast with what felt like a visit with old friends.. The next time we want to escape the noise of the city we might just see if Leanne and Peter have a room available for us.
