We went to this beautiful cellar door and restaurant, tucked away at the top of the hill and enjoyed the most amazing Mediterranean grazing board, Aleppo chicken skewers and Osmeliath dessert paired with Lebanese coffee.

The service was impeccable and our table overlooked the winery with glimpses of the water. The wines were surprisingly robust in flavours and we left with a few bottles!

Definitely recommend this wonderful gem of a place especially if you have a large group of people wanting to share plates of food that are healthy, well portioned and is just different to the standard fare of carbs and fried foods.

Amazing- really lovely family run business- love how they weave their Lebanese background into menu. Wines are delicious & different! My faves were the semillon & saltwater shiraz; a complex layered shiraz. The Lebanese coffee & traditional deserts (homemade) are divine too.

We had a wonderful afternoon at Sunset + Vine. The food is mediterranean fusion, and insanely delicious. The share plates were perfect as it allowed us all to try all on offer and we can highly recommend the cauliflower and the kibbeh! The wine flight was great and so glad we decided to squeeze in dessert as the Home Made Osmalieh was to die for!!!

Beautiful restaurant, lovely setting high up overlooking the vineyards, to the valley all the way to the water. Food was delicious, middle eastern style shared dishes, homemade by the owner Marina with love. Very attentive service, from the owners.

Dishes were beautifully presented and they confirmed the ingredients are sourced on site or locally. Good selection of wine, including their own label and others.

Would certainly return and recommend to others.

We came for lunch on Christmas Eve. Follow the dirt road past the Murray’s Farm brewery and head up the dirt road up the hill.

We had a lovely table overlooking the canopy of gum trees with glimpses of the valley to Tilligerry Creek and Tanilba Bay to the west.

The Middle Eastern food was exceptional! Most probably the best I’ve ever tasted. The cauliflower dish was an explosion of flavours in your mouth. The sesame crusted tuna was light and refreshing. A perfect dish for summer!

The wine tasting offerings I felt it was on the pricey side for 50mls a glass. But I guess that is the price you pay for a bespoke boutique winery. We were a bit confused as I thought there would be a cellar door and separate restaurant, but it’s all combined and wine tasting is listed as part of the drinks menu.

The letdown was the 3 large tables of diners, which made it quite noisy on the enclosed verandah. There was only one other table of 2 people, so it wasn’t as relaxing as we would have hoped.
It was still a lovely experience.

Amazing authentic mezze and Middle Eastern food. Absolutely delicious and perfectly presented. Served by friendly staff in a relaxed setting. Magnificent views across the valley. Highly recommend stopping in here if in the Port Stephens region or making this your destination. 10 out of 10.
