Absolutely loved our visit to The Wobbly Chicken Company in Yamba! We dropped in on a super busy Easter Monday and were blown away by how friendly and accommodating the owners and staff were despite the crowd. The food was top-notch — the burger with the lot was juicy and full of flavour, easily one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. The steak sandwich was next-level — tender, perfectly cooked, and packed with tasty extras. The kids smashed their meals too, which is always a win.

One of the standout features here is the beer — brewed on-site, with a great selection of craft ales. I sampled a couple and ended up taking a six-pack home, which is a great touch for beer lovers. Plenty of seating options inside and out, so whether you’re after a quick bite or a relaxed afternoon session, they’ve got you covered.

You can tell these guys care about what they do — awesome food, great beer, friendly service, and a vibe that feels local and welcoming. Highly recommend dropping by if you’re in Yamba. We’ll definitely be back!

Tried the paddle with ales, red and the porter. Great beers, all of them. Had the Thai beef salad and the Thai prawn salad with a side of salt and pepper calamari. The prawns were 'grilled' but not and the beef was a bit dry. The sauce was tasty but flooded both dishes. The salt and pepper calamari was nice and crispy without being oily.
Service and staff were all friendly and efficient.

Everyone here is so kind, and the coffee, food, and beer are all amazing! It’s the kind of place that just makes you feel good as soon as you walk in.

After frequenting this place many times now, it’s time for a review:
Simply amazing! The Parmi is the best I’ve ever had anywhere. All the other food we’ve tried has been perfect. The beers are awesome. Especially exciting is the German style wheat beer “wobbly Weiss”. And the Ginger beer.
The service is always friendly and ready to go above and beyond. We felt like locals from our first visit onwards. It’s always such a pleasure to see when staff have been trained to see that looking after customers means they’re looking after the business which means they’re looking after their own pockets as well.
The rooms are clean and comfortable and reasonably priced.
Keep up the amazing work guys! You’re getting it right!

Casual place in the heart of Yamba, open for breakfast, lunch and then dinner on weekends. We visited here twice for lunch on our stay due to the vibe, beers, and food.
Indoor and outdoor seating available with dog friendly tables on the Astro turf.
Beer paddles available so you can sample their beers along with a gift store.
Food was cooked perfectly and good portions.

Room was so clean and everything worked. Stayed in a room with a bathroom, price was good as its in the middle of Yamba. We went to the restaurant across the road for dinner and had a vegetarian breakfast at the Wobbly Chook. Food was extremely yummy, service was fast. Alot of people around all the time for help. Self check in. Only thing Id like changed, there was no iron or ironing board. Have booked in again. If you go for the weekend make sure you get there early as all the shops close at 2pm on a Saturday.

Great little boutique brewery in the heart of Yamba. We had mother's day lunch. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Simple selection of pub style food which was delicious. Needless to say the beer selection was extensive and very tasty.
Order at the bar. Will be back for sure.
