I think it is great that people are having a go to open a business in a small town, and I fully acknowledge that would be difficult. That being said, we have supported and given this business multiple chances the last 6 months.
1. The place lacks atmosphere and looks like it could do with a deep clean, not only on the customer side of things, but the meat all over the floor as well as out the back in the car park around the bin is disgusting.
2. I have raised concerns about the size of the fried chicken before, and the girl just looked at me blankly and did nothing. For $5 (yes $5!!) You get the tiniest little piece of fried chicken! Barely more than a couple of bites. The quality of it over the last 6 months has also significantly gone down hill.
What we paid for 2 small wraps with no chips, one cheeseburger meal and 3 tiny pieces of chicken was $68!!! Astronomically overpriced for the price and the quality of food that we received.
We have said multiple times since it was taken over that we won't be returning, however have returned multiple times to support a newly taken over small business in a small town. Until we hear they have picked up their act, we definitely will not be returning to Wishbone.

The young ladies that were working on Monday night, Jan 6, 2025 were incredible. Thank you so much!!
I had 4 hungry kids at 7pm and you were busy. Not one of you appeared upset about it being so close to closing time. You were all so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious too. Especially the loaded chips. 😋

We ordered two very different kebabs, and both were incredibly delicious. The sauce is perfect amount, the tabouli is on point and tastes delicious, and the size of the kebab is very generous. We also ordered a kid meal and the sizing was over generous. Stoked about that, but our little one couldn't finish it. Such good food. The staff in there were very nice, one girl lacked quality customer service, but she was very young, so to be expected at her age. The places atmosphere was good. Just needed music to pick the vibe up that little more. We will definitely go again.

Best chicken burger I have had in a while the Deluxe burger is awesome. Kids loved the cheese burgers and the chips were also next level. I’ll be back next time I’m in town

So I had a lot of kababs in my life time and I went to try this place and I was very disappointed there kabab was not full it was just long and skinny need more meet on it and change the cheese it’s not appetising the place was very Aussie don’t recommend if you want a kabab from there and this kabab shop needs to up there game!! 🙂🙂

5 stars because this is a friendly family run local business putting in a lot of effort. Had a great hamburger there recently. Unfortunately I tried my first chicken kebab this morning and it was full of hard, dried out chicken from (presumably yeaterday leftover as it had just opened). Please serve fresh chicken in the kebabs and I will be a regular customer!

Just tried a few burgers since a new owner has taken over, lovely bloke and i wish him success. Great burgers, the kind of chips that i personally prefer (the thin beer battered fries). Fresh rolls and the burgers were delicious. A 5 out of 5 star rating is pretty massive for me, as I've had plenty of good and bad burgers over the years. Definitely recommend! I'll be back for sure 🙌
