We stayed here after they sold the cottages that we were originally booked in. It served our purposes but please do something about the horrible smell in the upstairs bathroom. There are Starlings nesting in the walls/ceiling and the smell was making me dry reach ?. Also, you pay for higher end accommodation therefore you would expect better toilet paper and not the tissue paper that was supplied!!

Had one of everything. The Portuguese tarts were the best I've ever eaten... not too sweet and lovely crunch but only good in the first day- the base lost its crunch the next day. The sour cherry danish and escargot was also good, again also only good on the first day.

Highly recommended. Bring your own tea as they had not restocked, also if you like a large mug for a cuppa bring one with you, they only have small ones. All areas clean, no TV, not enough light in bathroom.

Highly recommended spot to stay in the Hunter Area!

My experience at the William Arnott Boutique Hotel was exceptional in all aspects. I initially booked into the SAO studio and accidentally broke the window, needless to say Allie was extremely accomodating and upgraded me to the VoVo Suite since no one was staying there at the time, which gives the great pleasure to review both rooms! The SAO studio was well maintained, clean and perfect for anyone looking for a casual single or couple stay. The VoVo suite was again very clean with large space and living area for families. The attention to detail in both these rooms were phenomenal. Both rooms were fitted with air conditioning and is perfect for anyone looking for a city escape.

Lovely place and a cute town. We stayed in the Monte Carlo suite. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the town go by. The owners are lovely to deal with.

I love the bread here. Have been recommended to come past and glad I did. Bought a few loaves and ate them all.
