White Sands Resort - Four Mile Creek, Tasmania

Our granddaughter chose White Sands Resort as her wedding venue and we had the pleasure of staying for 4 nights after travelling from the UK. White Sands is a stunning venue with all villas having wonderful views of the beach and coastline. The villas are well equipped, comfortable and very spacious with huge decking areas. The resort is child friendly with lots of activities including a large swimming pool, play area and daily film shows in the resorts cinema.

Strange place. Combined accommodation resort and distillery. In a magnificent part of Tasmania. We needed accommodation on the east coast of Tas and it was pretty competitive with Airbnb. Big place with lots of identialcal free standing units. All very basic built on the cheap. But ok. Unfortunately we were there at a weekend and most of the place was shut. Poor eating options, bar and wine section very limited and then the absolute killer blow. My partner ordered a cocktail flight (a special of the day) and the bartender explained she didn't add the garnishes to make it easier to drink. What? Weird plus plus plus. Essentially fizzy wine with fruit juice add in a wine glass. Awful is being generous. Won't be going back.

We stayed in the campground beside the resort and visited the cafe and bar. They have several tasting options including wines, beers and gin with in house distillery. Great views from the large deck. The resort has individual accommodations and facilities include new 25m pool, cinema and laundry. The beach out front is beautiful with white sandy beach and perfect for a swim.

Dropped in for a coffee and walked out with beer a t-shirt , some cheese, salami, crackers.
Great cafe with nice views. They also have distillery as well as brewery and winery. The resort looks well set out. Lunch menu looked nice.

Great food , Pizza is fantastic , cocktails are delicious. Top spot for a visit. Staff are always happy to help . It's awesome to have a local thats worth going back . Top job .

We were a group of 5 ladies who had a beautiful lunch at the resort in December just before the Christmas rush.
The staff were outstanding and went above and beyond to make our day memorable.
Our waitress Kaila gave the most amazing service and we wanted to publicly give her the recognition she deserves.

Overall the Place is great except Michael's Hosting Unit no 24.

Our overall stay at Michael's property was good, but unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by several issues. The property had a few notable drawbacks: the flyscreen was broken, allowing mosquitoes inside, which made it particularly difficult with an infant. The backyard deck was covered in bird droppings, which was unpleasant. Additionally, the kitchen was very cramped and not suitable for a property advertised to accommodate nine adults.

The real disappointment came after our stay. The host charged an unbelievable amount for just 4 hours of cleaning and additional fees for dry-cleaning the doona. This felt excessive and unreasonable. On top of that, the host's behavior during check-out was rude and unprofessional, leaving us feeling dissatisfied. It felt like the host was more focused on extracting extra money than providing a welcoming experience.

While the property itself was decent, these issues with cleanliness, space, and the host’s attitude would make us hesitant to recommend or return.

My partner and I have nothing but amazing and positive things to say about staying at the White Sands Resort! Besides the obvious ones of how beautiful the hotel is, the pool & tiki vibe of the hotel is awesome and being so close to the beach.

But their customer service is 1000/1000 !

They allowed us to borrow their Go Pro which was a huge help for me and my partner for when we went swimming !

But they also have been such an amazing help and so accomodating for us!

We had an early flight on our check in day and arrived at the White Sands at 6:30am, check in isn’t till 3pm which we were fully prepared for, They looked after our luggage for us and then they rushed our room for us and had the room ready by 10:30am which we were so beyond grateful for!!

The icing on the cake on how amazing they are!
I left my airpod pros behind , when house keeping cleaned the room they found it and Kalia directer of Rooms manager contacted me straight away and looked after me in getting them back to me asap, we live in Aus for it to be done is a big ask and couldn’t be more grateful!

I couldn’t recommend them more! Thankyou so much guys !!
