We booked a single room and a two-bedroom apartment for a stop-over on our way from Brisbane to the Whitsundays. Yeppoon was good place to break the trip and we enjoyed checking out the beach across the road from the B and B in the morning and doing some bird watching at Lammermoor park. Our host Lois was lovely - she is super friendly and helpful. All was good with the rooms, parking and access.

I stayed at "While Away" B&B at Yeppoon for 2 nights. A modern home with several guest rooms all with their own external entry door and ensuite. It's much more homey than a motel and only 100 metres from Yeppoon's beautiful beach. Everything you could ask for is provided plus a comfortable bed, outdoor setting to relax in etc. Due to Covid-19 no breakfast atm so the price is reduced. A relaxing stay. Highly recommended. Lovely and helpful owners. The only thing lacking is an iron &ironing board but I'm sure Lois will loan me one. I'm here on business so I have to iron! It doesn't seem right in a holiday town!

Booked in and stayed for two nights at While Away B&B to attend a wedding. What a delightful experience! Friendly and welcoming owners, and the premises are modern, clean, well appointed and with attention to detail. Certainly value for money with all the comforts of home, but being waited on like VIP's with the delicious breakfasts cooked and prepared by the lovely Lois. A very short walk to a lovely clean and quiet beach enhanced the experience. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We stayed at While Away Bed & Breakfast in August. After a disappointing start to our Yeppoon trip at another property, we found While Away website online and called up Lois, after already reading fabulous reviews, thankfully she had a room for us for 2 nights. On arrival we immediately felt very welcomed and settled in her lovely home with a fabulous self-contained B&B set up, great breakfast and lots of chat (which I loved), nothing was too much. We recently stayed here and have nothing to fault it. Lovely clean room and bathroom, comfy king-size bed and great QUIET location. Just 50 meters from the beach, great for an early morning stroll. With tea, coffee and nibbles at your disposal any time and a choice of either sherry or port for a nightcap at no extra cost you can't go wrong. Lois and Richard are lovely hosts and the brekky was beaut.

Lois was the perfect hostess. Lots of info about the surrounding area. The room was super clean and such a comfy bed. A short walk across the road to the huge beach of Yeppoon, ideal for a sunset walk into town for dinner.

My best experience in Yeppoon was certainly my stay in this B&B, if only for 1 night! The owners were very welcoming and gave me important advices for my trip! The house is comfortable and very well located....you will feel like home here...don't look for anything else if you happen to stop in Yeppoon...free wifi was the only thing missing....

On our way up the coast of Queensland we made a detour to Yeppoon and found this lovely B&B just out of the centre and very close to a beach. The property is very clean and tidy and the bed comfortable.||The hostess informative and friendly. We hope it hasn't been devastated by the cyclone.||Would recommend
