We enjoyed our evening here, family friendly and good portions. worth the visit. A kids play area would have made this the perfect place for a return visit

Food well prepared and delivered to the table on time.Friendly staff too.Virgin pina colada was too watery pine apple and coconut flavours too dilute and not as thick.Also consider replacing pork with something else for non pork eaters.

We were a table of 12 last Sunday for lunch.
Every meal that came out was disgusting. What a come down for this club. Twice now. Never going back for meals. Two of us waited 40 minutes for roast pork dinner, terrible. Chicken schnitzel was over cooked. Fish dripping oil, all batter, no fish. Hamburger was bland. I could've done a better job. What a shame.?

We were at the bistro at wests mayfield. I had a petite flathead and chips. My hubby collected our meals. I was horrified. The price of flathead was the exact size of a seafood stick !! Omg. ! I know I wanted small but this was smaller than a cocktail fish I get at the fish and ship shop. I took it back to ask if it was correct. Yes it was ! Apparently that’s the size. The young lady got the boss. Yes that’s right. Can anything be done. No. Not unless you get a different meal. Don’t get me wrong. I am not upset at the staff. All nice women. I’m upset that Wests think that this is acceptable. Because it’s most definitely not !! As I said to them. I will never eat there again. !! I’m done. I’m a lifetime member and I find Wests at Nelson Bays good is great. At the coffeee shop I get a roast meat roll. Beautiful or an egg and bacon roll also very nice. So Wests Mayfield I suggest you do better ir loose people!!! Absolutely disgusted !!

The food here was the best value of all the meals we had on our recent trip to Newcastle. The kids in particular loved the crunchy, perfectly cooked chips. I loved the great selection of beers on offer too. Staff were smiling and welcoming. The atmosphere was much warmer than Wests New Lambton, (which was a bit like sitting in a big work canteen.) Very clean too.

Ate in bistro for lunch today. I had Roast Pork which was disappointing. Didn't have texture of roast pork more the texture of corned beef. Looked and tasted like boiled meat with no flavour. Hubby had Rissoles and Mash which he said was lovely! I have been having roast pork here for many years. In the past could not fault it. Will not have again

I love going to wests leagues club at mayfield and new Lambton to stay a few nights at either place always a great place to have a meal and to stay the night or a few days child friendly atmosphere also very Kind and helpful staff.
Loads of entertainment and things to do
I have been a perpetual member for years even though I have moved states I still like to come back and visit.
Plenty of bars to order drinks
They have gaming areas.
