I was so amazed at the beautiful hotel and welcome i received upon arrival. I have never slept so well in such a quiet inner city hotel. Loved everything. The atrium really makes breakfast a lovely start to the day. I really appreciated the concierge calling the most luxurious taxi to take me to the airport. An amazing stay will always come back to your hotel and recommend to my fellow co-workers as well. Congratulations on an incredible range of staff at the front desk and all those that maintain the hotel rooms. Was very clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The entire staff (front desk, restaurant, housekeeping) were helpful and made us feel very welcome. The hotel is in a great location where you can access the ferry system within a three minute walk. If you really like to walk, the Opera House, the main ferry terminal (Circle Quay) and the Rocks are about a 20-30 minute walk away. Shopping and many restaurants are close by as well. Our room was cozy and comfortable and the bath and bed linens were really nice. Highly recommend. Kudos to Jake and Sophia at the front desk.

After a 22 hour flight and arriving early (9am) it was fantastic to be told my room was ready rather than have to wait until later. The reception staff was so friendly. The room and breakfast were excellent.

Funky little hidden gem of a hotel tucked away from all the hustle and bustle. Really well appointed hotel rooms with all the modern conveniences. All staff very friendly and welcoming and even the cleaning staff greet you with smiles. Definitely recommend! Great little breakfast buffet and bar/restaurant.

I loved the West Hotel for the most part. Good and friendly service from everyone at the front desk and in the restaurant. The room is bit on the small side, no usable closet, not enough hangers, and luggage stand not big enough. On the bright side(litterally),the room is bright and the expansive window covering the entire outer wall says it all. My biggest complaint is the elevator, how can I put it nicely, but let me try several ways:|1. Only half the elevators are not working.|2. Only one elevator is not working. The rest are fine.|3. The elevators are working at least half if the time.|I stayed 5 days and it still wasn’t fixed by the time I checked out and it may have been more than five days since it was already broken by the time I checked in.

Two streets back from Darling Harbour, with a bottle shop around the corner, this is a good location. Rooms are new and they are big enough once you get inside - they just look small from the doorway. Enjoyed our two-night stay and would recommend for a city getaway! PS the room fridges won't take your bottle of white wine, so take some red instead

Location: The location is amazing, located only a block from the harbor.

Rooms: The bed was very comfortable. However, the layout of the room was odd. There was very little storage space for luggage and contents despite the room to include it. Additionally, my bathroom had a slight odor of raw sewage emanating from the floor drain. I notified the front desk about it. The second day they sent maintenance up, but whatever they did had no effect on the smell.

Food: I found the breakfast to be quite boring and bland. The "hot" food was always cold. I got charged 1 out of 2 days for breakfast, when I shouldn't have based on my Hilton status. The employee who insisted that I had to pay for hit breakfast on my last day was also rude. He sat me at a table located in direct sun and ran off without any other offers for coffee, etc. I saw him again a few minutes later as he seated another table. He asked them if he could get them any drinks or omelets from the kitchen. When I went to get my food, he dropped off a bill for the cold "hot" food but didn't leave a pen to sign with. My rating on service is highly influenced by him.

One night I ordered a burger and fries from room service. The food was absolutely disgusting. The burger meat has a very odd taste and wasn't seasoned in any way. The fries were thick and flavorless.

Incredible experience going there for the first time. The service was fantastic, the room looked even better than in the pictures and all of the facilities worked great. The room was tidy, clean and sanitary too. We loved the continental breakfast package because of the variety of hot and cold foods offered. The staff make it top quality would definitely go back and recommend to friends.
