Haven't been to Wellington point for a very long time. And it did not disappoint. Was public holiday today. Was quite busy but managed to find a parking spot quite easy. Everyone was having great time. Picnics, fishing, sipping coffees as park benches. Highly recommended if you're in the area to check out. I suggest arriving in out of eating times as it gets quite busy if you're wanting picnic table. Before 11am or 2-4pm for example.

This is yet another must-visit beach near Brisbane! I think it’s one of the most convenient and closest spots. It’s a place you must bring the kids during their holidays. However, the most important thing is to check the tide schedule. If you want to catch small sea snails and crabs, you need to go during the right season. And if you want to see the island emerge, you have to time your visit with the tides. There’s also a lovely little park nearby—dog-friendly and perfect for a walk with your furry friends!

Pleasant, relaxing place to stroll, picnic, cycle, fish, launch a boat or just relax. Nice paths, grassy areas and seating There is a short jetty and The Oxley Cafe is close by.

Beautiful place for afternoon walk and exploring the mudflats. PARENTS BE AWARE OF THE DANGEROUS MARINE LIFE ⚠️ There are highly venomous blue-lined octopus that live in the shallow water. I took a photo of this one that was in 2cm of water, on the edge of the seagrass, and only about 50m from where there were little kids playing on the shore. At the very least, please make sure your children wear water shoes if they are playing near the seagrass or in the tide pools. Please be safe 🙏

Beautiful place and nice for evening walk. Better place for family time. Children can enjoy the place a lot.
