Stoked the vengabus came to Wollongong! Great spot for a fun, unpretentious night out at gig. Sound quality is decent, has three split levels so you can actually see the stage, quick bar for a gig venue, and has good atmosphere.

Used to be the place to go for a great night out
Since oscars took it over its gone down hill big time
No seating inside
Not enough bar staff working
2 or 3 at best
Have to spend too much time waiting to be served
You end up missing alot of the band
They havent spent any money on maintaining it
And dont seem to get the big name bands anymore
Such a shame

One of the best live venues (last of a few) in the wollongong area. The sound quality, lighting and layout of the venue is ideal for people who want to mosh right at the front or enjoy a drink and watch the stage standing or sitting (very limited) from the back and middle levels. They host acts from the international and local scene from all types of genres.
The bar inside is quite expensive and very limited on what you can order. But you can venture next door for a far more optional and reasonably priced food and drink. If your also traveling from outside of wollongong there are rooms available at towrodgi beach hotel.
The atmosphere has a very nightclub feel to it and is very dark. The bar service is limited but efficient.
But being the last of a few great venues in wollongong it is worth going to see your favourite act or just supporting and checking out the venue.
