Dear lord this place is beautiful.
I was there for a day, yoga retreat.
Got to see The Shed - a beautiful, 2 room (bed/living/kitchen & bathrooms) accommodation nestled next to a meandering creek; the actual shearing shed (a delightful space for one still being used, piles of fleece and baling machines only added to its charm for me); and the exterior of the main (grand?) house - the lawns are lovely.
We weren't allowed inside, as there were staying guests. I appreciated knowing our hosts were looking after all their visitors.
Barbara was on the retreat - a nice person to chat to before I even realised their connection to the property.
And Doug was around at the main house, running errands, chatting and joking.
The views on and around the property are wide and refreshing.
A very restorative place to spend some time if you ever have the opportunity ☺️

What an amazing property. Stayed in the creek shack completely off grid which was exactly what was needed. Amazing location overlooking the creek with the sounds of the rapids ensuring a great nights sleep. Cabin blends in with the surrounds and has been tastefully built to replicate the stations history with all the luxury appointments inside

An awesome weekend at a great location for a baby shower. The fire pit and living area was beautiful and the bedrooms were comfortable and warm.

Shhhhhhh- This place "The creek shack" is the best we have been to.

We stayed 2 nights and wanted to stay longer.

It is quiet, peaceful, cosy and great for couples.

The cabin, shower , kitchen, bed and all the bits in between were excellent.

Dead set , if someone is not happy at this place then they should stay home.

It is so nice just sitting watching to see if we could see a platypus or watching the ducks swim in the running creek.

We got to see lots of wild life and went on some gentle walks.

The communication with the owner compared to the other owners of cabins we stayed at on this tour was excellent

Phone reception worked on the verandah some times. 1 Bar.

No snakes, no spiders - very clean and modern inside.

Bed is very comfortable and it is warm if you visit in winter and there is a fan for summer.

A grade country accomodation dressed as a cheek shack.

This the Tesla of off grid accomodation.

If you want to spoil some one with a special spot- this is it.

Take a picnic blanket for a lunch by the stream. It is beautiful.

Great for instagram location photos/ videos - We did not take any as apparently beer bellies don't trend well as models.

We hope that helps you.

Go for the drive- make the effort and spend say 4 -5 nights there if you want to drop out , reconnect, read and rest.

The Creek Shack was the perfect getaway spot to unwind to the sound of the flowing creek. It's cozy and cute, with all the modern conveniences and best of all, a truly secluded and quiet location. Loved the details such as the copper hardware throughout the cabin!

So unbelievably rude and for no good reason.
Made a simple online enqiry in regards to wedding catering options for this venue and recieved absolutely horrible customer service in return.
Could not or would not answer any questions I had and instead directed me to look for another venue entirely.

Had the pleasure of staying at Waterloo Station for 2 nights during a yoga retreat. Stunning homestead so beautifully restored by Deb. The Shearing Quarters where we ate and did our yoga was equally as impressive. Amazing walks to top off a perfect weekend.

Absolutely perfect, we had the best rest and relaxation here, such considerate host in Deb, she was so hospitable and allowed us as much privacy as we wanted, the place is beautiful, impeccably presented and the country sheep station environment right at your door. We will be back as it is high on our recommendation list for country escapes.
