Yes, this is the real deal old school Thai massage. I don't know the woman's name but she was incredibly good, one of those little Thai women that absolutely knows her stuff. Just regret finding this place on the last day rather than the first. Highly recommended.

Exceptional experience. Waew Lane is a talented and strong massage therapist for foot, deep tissue therapeutic, Traditional Thai and Relaxation massage. She has really broken down old scar tissue and pain in my ankle over a series of massages… After two excellent massages I recommended Wat Pho to my sister Linda & she said it was the best massage she ever had (Thai massage by Waew).
The location is a relaxing, private, clean and comfortable space under the Mantra Trilogy hotel complex on Abbott St (around the corner from Aplin st). They have comfy recliner chairs for foot reflexology and massage tables.
Definitely highly recommended.

I do not recommend this place at all! I should have read the previous review before heading in here. Unfortunately they were the only massage parlor that was open late. Very unprofessional. They changed masseuse halfway. The first one was great but the one who replaced her kept talking to her colleague in their language and was very distracted while giving the massage. She just flicked the towel over my back not making sure that it was covering me fully (which made me feel cold because they had the A/C on) before haphazardly massaging my legs. Then asked me to turn over without wiping off the oil from my back and legs and not even lifting the towels off me. It was the most disappointing massage I've ever had that I walked off without finishing the whole hour I've booked. There are plenty of other massage parlours in Cairns that give better service and worth for your money.
