Washoku never fails to deliver. I’ve been here many times over the years and the same high standard remains.

A few times I’ve come and it has been too busy/no seats available.. so I’ve been turned away, so now I always try and make a reservation.

The staff are very pleasant and lovely.. and the food is great. So many options, sushi, soups, grills, or various share platters.

The quality is high, fresh and tasty. You leave feeling full, but not sick.

I love this place and return cause it’s reliable and some of the best Japanese in the area.

I ordered teriyaki salmon which was overcooked and the vegetables were inedible ie Brussels sprouts were undercooked and pumpkin was undercooked. When I called to complain they said I needed to send them photos which I did and they didn’t call back immediately I had to keep chasing and they said the chef was too busy with other customers orders to deal with my complaint ! How shocking that I was just left with an unsatisfactory dish when others were being fed and I was left without ….also the salmon was like leather it was so overcooked …

Good service.
Food were nicely presented, it would be even better if the ingredients were fresher.
Many of the wooden chopsticks looked tired and worn at the tips. Perhaps it’s time to replace them.

As a entree, I highly recommend the gyoza.
Reasonably enough street parking.

This is a nice little restaurant. The kitchen appears small but they offer a wide variety of Japanese-inspired dishes. The sashimi was pretty standard, but really enjoyed their signature rolls (Mad-Mex and Dynamite).

Great Japanese place with a decent range of items as can be seen by the pictures. Great sashimi, fresh fish and extremely well cooked tempura. It is also BYOB - when combined with the local bottleo this is a great combination. The overall impression is extremely favourable with some outdoor seating areas as well as good indoor seats which are a bit darker during day time.
Prices are a bit dear; but, considering the food quality, acceptable.
The location is pretty central but parking can be hellish in this part of town. Be prepared...

The food was awesome!!! So delicious!!!
They have taco salmon, the nori was crunchy and the salmon was full of flavour.
Their sashimi was very fresh. The nigiri was so good. Grilled Salmon belly was melting in my mouth ?
