With views of large scenic grounds, this spacious room with kitchen facilities was the perfect place to base myself for a weekend of bushwalking around the Warrumbungles.

Staff were very kind and friendly, the rooms were very clean (the bathroom had quality toilet paper!) and the outdoor facilities include seating for stargazing, playground equipment, a fire pit and giant connect 4. I was also able to do my laundry before I left in the guest laundry for $5/load and free dryer use. The stove took a little getting used to but it was fine, and I was able to cook a proper dinner here.

Definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for some creature comforts after a day's hiking!

Nice to be out of town, away from the rumbling trucks. Grounds are extensive and very well kept. Nice to have a little walk or sit outside in the sun watching the birds. ||Accommodation is old but comfortable and exceptionally clean. Self contained aspect is limited. The small gas oven/cooktop in our room was ancient and not fully functional (matches not provided). Gas in bbq ran out before we’d finished cooking. There is a microwave, toaster, jug, limited utensils.

Kimberley and Ryan are lovely and were really welcoming and helpful. The family suite was spotless, very comfortable, and lovely and warm. It was also very convenient for the national park and telescopes (highly recommend tour by Brannock at Side Springs). We hope to stay again. Carin

We had our yearly motorcycle club event at this place. Kimberly and Ryan have only been there a few months and are doing such an excellent job. Rooms were spotless and they were very accommodating with any special requests. Beautiful location just outside of town but close enough for any forgotten items to duck back into town. We had about 40 people stay for the weekend and had heaps of beds with each cabin having its own bathroom, oven, tv and air-conditioning. Great pool for the kids and adults to have a splash around. Very nice conference room for our meeting and bar on site. The grounds were well maintained as well with plenty of room for peace and quiet. Very reasonable prices for rooms and drinks. Can definitely recommend this place to any one looking for a clean well looked after motel cabin style accommodation. Hope to see Kimberly and Ryan again in the future thanks for a great weekend.

The Warrubungles mountain motel is one of the most exquisite motels I have been to. If you have a love and passion for nature and a quiet area this is the place for you! From the moment we entered the Warrubungle mountain motels premises for our school trip I was impressed by the cleanliness and the neat state of the room. The room was spacious, equipped with essentials and most importantly comfortable. I’ll definitely be returning to this wonderful place on my next trip! 🙂

Kimberley and Ryan went above and beyond to help us last night! We left the current motel we were staying at, as the room was unsatisfactory. They took the time to clean a room for this family of 6. The room was great! The kids loved the bunk beds! The bathroom was clean! The fan was on for us when we entered. Great spot to see the stars and The Milky Way. We will stay again!

Very convenient location. Friendly staff. Great budget accommodation. Enjoyed the fish and chips dinner as well. Nicely maintained grounds. Room were were in - the family room - was very spacious, and would be ideal for someone with several children . Shower was a pleasant relief after a long day or driving and sightseeing. Bathroom was very clean. Caught the ABC news on the TV and enjoyed hearing that Fiji beat the Wallabies! Wi Fi seemed fine and no problems. It was a bit of a chilly morning - and the inverter /heat was fantastic. Plenty of hot water as well. There is a pool and a playground. We heard that there are new owners?/managers? And, we wish them all the best of luck with this new opportunity as they sort through any issues with a new business.

This was a great place for us as a retired couple. We just wanted clean, comfortable, and quiet accommodation, close to the Warrumbungles National Park. The rooms are unpretentious, but scrupulously clean and all of the above. We had a family room with beds and space to spare! Our hosts were super helpful with good local knowledge and directions.
Because the Warrumbungles Motel is out of town, the skies are really dark on moonless nights, and the stars are amazing!! They look so close you could just about jump up and touch them!!!
