We had such a beautiful stay at Waragil Cottage! It was great for our group, including young family. We especially enjoyed the garden, cosiness of the home and the fact that everything that you possibly need was available. Also, we believed it was at such a great location to explore a beautiful part of the Blue Mountains! Thanks so much Heidi & Luke, for opening your home to us!

Poor communication re time for access (requested earlier than 3.00pm but reply only received after we chased) and had to chase to get combination code for key. Arrived at 12 midday, washing bag was on front porch and all looked ready for occupancy but we respected the 3.00pm rule and went to the golf club for a beer. Returned at 3.00pm and washing still on porch - it stayed there all weekend. Garbage bins in street - we left them there.
38 degree weekend - only one big pedestal fan (but we brought another 3 of our own suspecting such from property description - lots of heaters though), refrigerator couldn't cope with 38 degree temp. Window sills/main dining table/bedheads dirty, double bed had slats broken or missing - very uncomfortable. Back yard a mess with broken clothes line. Kitchen and bathroom good.

Finally when bond was returned and last reconciliation report was sent to us there was a $23.00 transaction fee for the whole deal which didn't appear anywhere on the initial "all you have to pay" receipt.

It was a nice, cosy little place with an amazing garden. Great stop for a short stay in Blackheath, and sleeps a lot of people comfortably, making the price very, very reasonable.
