We had the most glorious weekend floating around Lake Macquarie. The boat was clean, well equipped and Kris and Ros went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. Would highly recommend!!

Has brilliant 4 nights away over Australia Day long weekend. We were given a thorough handover and no question too small. We loved the morning updates to help us find the best moorings for the conditions. It helped us feel very safe overnight. Highly recommend and we will definitely book another trip.

Great weekend away! Two families of four (8 people in total)easily fit on board and the houseboat was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need (and more!). Kris was great to deal with and just wanted us to enjoy ourselves. The houseboat itself is great, well kept and well maintained. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a weekend away (even with small children!)

We just spent an amazing 2 nights in Winter on Lake Macquarie thanks to Wangi and Beyond Houseboats. As a total novice to boating, Kris was on call to help out at any time (and all of these calls were regarding user errors). His experience of his boats is second to none, and he knows these boats back to front.

We picked up our houseboat on Friday evening, and managed to venture all the way through to Warners Bay. On the Saturday, we had some of our guests disembark, and other get on, we spent the day cruising around the lake, finding some spots that I never knew existed. Exploring the lake was enjoyed by both young and old.

Having travelled the world, this was an experience so close to home I can’t believe I have never done before.
The condition and comfort of the boat was beyond our expectations. Being the middle of Winter, we were a little concerned about the boat being freezing, but it was actually quite warm inside. During the day, we sat outside in shorts and t shirts, and at night, rugged up and sat outside. The peacefulness of the lake in Winter was beautiful.

We had our 4 year old daughter, and a 7 year old friend who had an amazing time, and actually put their devices down to look around. They enjoyed cooking on the BBQ, and they were excited to go to bed to get a chance to sleep on a boat.

Kris and Ros are the nicest couple with great attention to detail to look after our comfort for the 3 days and 2 nights that we hired the house boat. From the trolley service to the bed arrangement and every detail to give you confidence to manage the boat on your own with their wealth of experience really made this trip enjoyable for us.

The boat house was very clean and tidy, bed arrangements can sleep 10 people easily. Kris went through and gave us a test run before we went on our own and really build our confidence in handling the boathouse especially with the anchor if you aren't too familiar with operating one.

There is also a fold out table inside and plastic chairs and tables available outside the front. Plenty of spaces for 10 people to sit and hang out in the top deck as well as the back.

Kris also sent us sms of the map every morning to let us know how strong the wind is and which direction so we can navigate safely through the waters and circled the best areas to anchor for the night.

Great service and will definitely come back in summer.

Very happy with our weekend aboard one of the Wangi and Beyond Houseboats.
Booking was a breeze, communication easy and pre boarding info was thorough!
Chris gave us a great run through of everything before we headed off on our way. Boat was very spacious with the variety of relaxing areas and is very well equiped for a comfortable time on board! The tender boat was great to get the friends on board and a fish and chip run to shore for lunch!
Highly recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy Lake Macquarie from the water. (Even in winter!!)

We have just finished a fantastic family holiday aboard Montego Bay from Wangi and Beyond Houseboats. Despite poor weather, we had a great time. The boat was awesome - new motors, fridge, stove, hot water and sound system. Ros and Kris were fantastic hosts - friendly, professional, accommodating, and efficient. We will definitely be back, hopefully when the sun is shining. Highly recommend Wangi and Beyond Houseboats.
