We had a wonderful experience with Tess and James for our wedding at Wallalong House. It's easy to feel quite overwhelmed with wedding planning but it all falls into place. The accomodation was beautiful and the venue absolutely stunning. Tess and James also run Fennel and Co who did our catering and holy heck we had so many comments on how great it was. Would have a wedding here every year if we could!

We had the most wonderful wedding at Wallalong last weekend. Best day of our lives. Photos cannot do the venue justice - it is so beautiful. We loved having our ceremony and reception all in one location, and it was awesome having our whole bridal party stay at the house the night of our wedding.

Tess, James and their team were fantastic. A particular shoutout to Annabelle and Georgia who coordinated our day. They were brilliant - calm, organized and made sure the whole day ran so smoothly. We would highly recommend Wallalong - it was just perfect. Thank you!

Wallalong House is an absolutely gorgeous wedding venue - photos don’t even do it justice. From the minute you set foot on the property you can just feel the beauty and magic. Combine this with Tess, James and their team and you will have the most amazing wedding day ever. Communication is easy from the outset and the team go above and beyond to bring your dream to life. Special shout out to Alec and Annabelle who were our managers on the big day and ensured that everything went smoothly. Wouldn’t change a thing!

What an amazing venue! We were so lucky to have our wedding at Wallalong House in August 2022 and everything about our stay was stunning. The venue is perfect for a relaxed ceremony and a fun reception, we had almost 100 people but with the 2 tents it was a perfect fit!
Bernadette, Natalie and Daniel the bar manager, and the rest of the team there were great to work with, always answering our questions and happy to host us for site visits before the day.
Our wedding party and partners stayed the night before and the accommodation was beautiful.
We hope one of our friends get married here soon just so we get to go back! A huge thanks again for making our wedding weekend the best weekend of our life!

Wallalong House was the perfect wedding venue in every way, from the gorgeous ceremony space to the perfectly kept grounds, the huge reception tents and not to mentioned the beautiful house itself.

Having our family and bridal party stay with us over the weekend made our wedding so easy and such a special time.

The staff were beyond incredible in the lead up to the wedding and on the day. They made the entire day and night run so smoothly.

We have been to lots of wedding’s lately but no other venue compares to the sheer beauty, practicality and service Wallalong House has.

Whenever I photograph here the team always ensures that each day runs exactly as planned and the couple and their guests have a great experience. For anyone who isn't familiar with the venue, the heritage home, beautifully maintained gardens, swimming pool and spectacular view will have you wanting to book this venue the moment you see it! It's definitely one worth checking out!

Oh my gosh, let me tell you about my absolute favourite Hunter Valley venue - Wallalong House! I'm a celebrant who absolutely love marrying couples at this venue.

This place is seriously impressive. It reminds me of those grand homesteads in Ireland that just ooze charm and character. So much WOW factor- your guests' jaws will be on the floor!

First of all, the building itself is just stunning - a mix of Georgian and Victorian architecture that's steeped in history. And the owners, Tess and James, along with their dedicated team, keep the grounds absolutely pristine. You'll find flowers in bloom everywhere you look.

One of my favourite things about the venue is that there are plenty of cosy corners to have a good chat or sneak in some private moments. The day beds by the pool are seriously Insta-worthy. Actually, the whole place is full of photo opportunities like the sandstone stables, the grand dining room, the side-less boho-inspired marquee - your photographer will love it.

And the ceremony space? Oh, don't even get me started. Picture this: two massive fig trees (rumoured to be over 200 years old!) providing the perfect amount of shade, with green fields and farmland as far as the eye can see. It's seriously breathtaking. When the 'wedding party' comes out of the house and down the steps, you better believe it's going to be a showstopper. I'm talking drama with a capital D, but in the best possible way.

Finding a wedding venue that allows confetti these days can be a bit tricky. But this place? They've got you covered. They don’t mind some dried petal eco-confetti. Not only will it make for the most amazing 'walking back down the aisle' shot, but you'll feel good knowing you're being kind to the planet while you celebrate your love.

Once the "I dos" are said and done, your guests can kick back with some drinks, canapes, and lawn games on the lush grass. Don't even get me started on the food. Fennel & Co. Catering are absolute pros and they'll make sure your taste buds are singing with joy. Seriously, let your food imagination run wild - they'll make it happen.

If you're on the hunt for a wedding venue and you want a Functions’ Manager who's going to be on the ball, responds to your emails, is organized AF, and totally focused on making your day amazing, then you need to meet Tess. Let me tell you, Tess is a force to be reckoned with. This lady has got it all under control and she's always one step ahead of the game. Need someone to help you coordinate your vendors? Tess is your girl. Want someone to make sure your guests are comfortable and happy? Tess has got you covered. She's like a wedding genie, granting all your wishes with a smile on her face. So, if you want a venue manager who's going to be your wedding day superhero, then you need to meet Tess.
