The food and location is good however the service is not so good. Unfortunately the staff could be better trained. It does not receive order directly at the counter and only from the QR code. I was only with my bank card and no mobile which makes difficult. One of my friend ordered for me but the drink came with not enough chocolate (it tasted like vanilla). They fixed for us after.
And the coffee came after we finish the meal.
I hope they can change or improve the service.

We thoroughly enjoyed our night from start to finish. You made our night feel so special and is something we will remember for the years to come. Your team's hospitality was exceptional and accommodating. The food was excellent on the night, the guests and ourselves cannot fault the meals you served us. We both particularly liked the slow cooked lamb and gnocchi, this was delicious.

Jaya, thank you for being every step of the way with us, from initial meetings to planning the event sheet and ensuring we had everything we needed for the night to run smoothly for our wedding. Eloise did an excellent job and executing the night and working with our various vendors to make the night run smooth - hats off to her!

Great views from the outdoor seating area, very spacious area with regular tables and lounge seats.
Food was nice, though the big breakfast was disappointing with only one thin slice of bacon and no option for having the eggs prepared a certain way.
The coffee's were lovely, brought out to us by the friendly staff.

What an incredible venue! The service was quick, and the coffee and food were just amazing! Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a coffee place with good vibes to chill. It’s a legit hidden gem in Brisbane!✨

Staff are friendly and helpful. Recommend booking a table on the weekend via their website as it can get very busy, especially when it starts to get hotter. Wait times can be high when it is busy due to the small and limited space in the cafe and kitchen, which is not a fault of the staff as I have seen them work very hard and try their best to keep up. If you do not have a booking and they are packed, they can do takeaway and it is nice to take food down to the water and sit on the bank in the shade.
No air conditioning, fans or heaters are available on the deck.

Also be aware as this is a large and exposed outdoor seating area, nature does its thing. Birds, turkeys and bugs will likely make an appearance. Don’t leave your food unattended if you don’t want to come back to birds on your table.

This place is one of a kind. We got married back in July and choosing Walkabout Creek was the best decision we made. The day ran smoothly. The events coordinator, Jaya, was always willing to do whatever necessary to make it our own and in our case, we went with simple and the team made that happen. Everything was there, we didn’t need to do much of our own DIY (but the option was there if we wanted to). The food was one of the highlights, some of the most delicious wedding food I’ve ever had and all our guests said the same. Just overall was one of the best days. Beautiful grounds for photos as well.

Walkabout Creek hosted my anniversary brunch party in their Banksia Room. Everything was perfect. The room set up and facilities were great. The timing of everything flowed so well, the service of food, cutting the cake, and clearing of tables. The team were so fantastic and helpful. Our guests were delighted.

A beautiful venue in the forest for a Wedding. The reception for 100 plus guests was well organized and wait staff were attentive and helpful.
The disappointment was with the food. The shared plates of Beef, Chicken and Barramundi were very much over cooked. Most guests overlooked the food and were pleased for the happy couple.
