Beautiful place to stay amongst the picturesque views of the valley.
The house was very comfortable and self contained.
The use of tank water was good, however we used bottled water for drinking.

There's a BBQ to use, but be sure to take supplys as there isn't a local grocery store, unless you go to Rawson which has limited supplies or Traralgon which is a 40 min drive.

The local pub was opened for dinner Wed-Sun and a cafe which needs to be pre booked open Mon-Tues nights.

Most of the local tours and shops were open only Wed, Sat, Sun so be sure to check prior to going.

Loved our night here (wish we had time for two), looking over the town. Great base to explore Walhalla (tramway walk, rotunda, cemetery and mine tour all within short walk). Two single beds and ?queen. Birds greeted us on the verandah for breakfast. Town was so quiet at night. Had Optus phone (no data) and full telstra reception on mobile.

My best friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at Walhalla Mill House. It was so charmingly decorated, clean, cosy and like a little haven of warmth in the wintery conditions. I also appreciated the wonderful host Fiona who was very informative and helpful.
