The perfect place for a quiet and peaceful get away. Cosy and well appointed. And for those who need to know, yes, there is a coffee machine (drip filter style).

Waldeslust is very well appointed, very well insulated and very quiet! It has a delightful cosy shabby chic feel to it. It has one large bedroom with a comfy Queen bed and a shower annexe that looks out onto the bush - fun! There is a separate bathroom and toilet, with a huge bath that also overlooks the bush. There is a lovely outdoor area off of the lounge (see video) and a small reading nook with a wood burner. There are two heater/ coolers if you need them. The kitchen has an excellent stove and fridge and condiments and utensils are provided. There is a cosy lounge with comfortable chairs and a large TV with speakers and an excellent library of DVDs - remember them? Internet reception is almost nonexistent, but some messages do get through (depending on the wind direction 😔), so Netflix etc is not possible. But, for a couple of days you get to spend some media downtime and read, drink tea or coffee or wine, and watch some great movies and the local wallabies! There is Poppie's Cafe and Bar 5 minutes away by car for snacks and drinks. Also, lots of bush walks, waterfalls and beautiful scenic views. The Bunya Mountains is a place to rest and relax and Waldeslust is a great place to do it. Great also for a romantic weekend! Cost is very reasonable and competitive.

This is a very kitschy and well set up holiday home. All the cooking gear and utensils you might need. The cute back yard is perfect for birdwatching. Robins and finches come right up to the back door and corellas frequently frolic in the neighbouring field.

The property is a short 20 minute walk to the walking tracks and store/restaurant. This location would also be perfect for those wishing to explore the newly built mountain bike trails as it is quite close to the trailhead.

I will be returning, we enjoyed staying here immensely.
