I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for relaxation. The location is quiet, which made it easy to unwind after a long day. The staff were incredibly welcoming, always greeting me with a smile and going out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Particularly Eric and Lupita, who were both so friendly and attentive, but honestly, everyone on the team was amazing. They added a lovely personal touch to the experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a calm, pleasant getaway!

Great place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Cafe and bar with complimentary light breakfast a real bonus. We accidentally left some ear buds, staff actioned quickly and express posted to us with no fuss. Definitely will be coming back. Thank you Vulcan Hotel!

What a wonderful find. A gorgeous boutique hotel with the loveliest staff, so you feel like a treasured guest not another number. Close to everything. You can see all the love and care that has gone into the heritage restoration of a beautiful historic building. My new favorite place to stay in Sydney

Such a nice hotel, we opted for the nice big room with double queen beds, I forget the name of the room, but it was really nice and quiet with a nice view. The location is great because its close to CBD but not in it, and very close to chinatown area with amazing food. We were there during the Lunar New Year which made the location even more extra special. The hotel staff were very sweet to us and everything was clean. It was a great deal.

Our family of four stayed in the loft room for one night, early September. The staff were warm, friendly and professional. The loft room was clean, stylish and had a touch of 'boutique'! The location was great, very close to the University and Haymarket end of the city. Parking was a couple of blocks away at UTS. After hours arrival was a little bit tricky, but worked out OK. The breakfast room was charming and full of character. Great coffee onsite was a big plus! Would definitely stay at The Vulcan again!

A clean, well-located boutique hotel, ideal if you are on a budget. The staff is friendly and very helpful. However, there are some factors that make the experience feel somewhat cheap, like some wear and tear on the furniture or very limited choices at breakfast.

Small but clean and comfortable rooms with good aircon. Good spot if you need to be central to a lot of places in Sydney. Breakfast was included which consisted of a continental style breakfast, plenty of choices and the dinning area is small but comfortable. Quiet room on the side of the building I was on. There is a busier road on one side but windows seem to have double glazing so they might be fine as well. Overall it's a small boutique style hotel it's not 5 star but for the price it was better than expected. As a solo traveller it did what I needed it to do, so has my recommendation.

The place I visit most frequently in Sydney.

Abdel, Lupita, Chesca, and Eric are amazing staff members. They are all very kind and friendly.

You should definitely visit this hotel before heading to the Opera House, Bondi Beach, or Darling Harbour.
