Positives - great view, location, fairly new air con so efficient, good showerhead and ok bed.
Unfortunately, it is dated and needs a lot of TLC. Can't believe we paid $360 for two nights. Just look at the photos I took. They speak for themselves.
On the website, it mentions a restaurant but it looks like it has not been functioning for a long time.
In our "chalet", there were things in the fridge and freezer from previous guests, cobwebs galore in the room and the lounge was stained and squeaky. We put a blanket on the lounge so we could sit on it.
Kitchen and bathroom were made to look like it had a row of feature tiles but it was a "stick on" feature that was peeling off.
I don't know what constitutes a "resort" but this is not a "resort" that you want to stay at.
This place should be shut down until repairs and a deep clean has been done.
My purpose in writing this review is not to shame but to warn others not to spend the money. Stay somewhere else. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place and I will never go back. I will look for other accommodation in the vineyards.

Pool isn’t clean great view though TV didn’t turn on marks and bumps all over the walls. The showerhead will fall off due to water pressure bit of the mattress missing.

NO RECEPTION,NO ONE ANYWHERE,THINGS BROKE NO ONE TO HELP, ROOMS HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED IN MONTHS. THERE ARE MORE BUGS AND COBWEBS AND SPIDERS THEN THERE ARE PEOPLE. BUGS AND SPIDERS DROP ONTO THE BED DURING THE NIGHT, MILK IN FRIDGE WAS 2 MONTHS OUT OF DATE. THIS PLACE HAS NOT BEEN CLEANED IN MONTHS, POOL AND GROUNDS ARE VERY UNSAFE. DINT WASTE YOUR MONEY, AVOID THIS DISGUSTING PLACE. NEVER COME HERE

Not sure how star ratings work but to say this is a 3 star accommodation is stretching the truth somewhat. With run down and unkempt facilities and grounds, no staff on site for the stay and little sign everywhere advising you of all the things you must not do, we cannot recommend this to anyone.
On a positive however, once you look past the broken sunshades and discarded solar lights, the outlook was stunning and close to wineries

Possibly abandoned since the 1960s. When we arrived a tumbleweed blew past. Visible DNA on the couch, no blue light needed. Took turns with the coffee cup while looking at the deck we couldn’t get to. Didn’t catch bedbugs but pretty sure we heard a zombie in the “Pamper House”. If you’re easily spooked, best to avoid. Send help.

Apon reading all the views, I thought let's risk it! We booked our room in June 2023 for 6,7 & 8 October 2023. We had an 80s Festival to attend too.

The room we booked is 1 bedroom, open shower & bathroom but beautiful cosy & comfortable.

The pool was clean beautiful & well maintained. The sunset was absolutely incredible!

But most importantly the lady we met, Cheree was phenomenal!
Anything we needed she assisted us. Any questions we had she had answers for us!

Definitely will be booking again!

If you are expecting 6 star rating hotels, with pools, fine dining options then this won't be suitable. If you are looking for a quiet getaway close to things to do - then this country getaway in the Hunter Valley is your best option.

It was so disgusting, outdated and shoddy that you had to laugh really. I've stayed at posher school camps! Avoid this place at all costs! My personal favourite was the request not to dirty their linen with make up! See pics! The linen was threadbare! Our friends didn't fare much better in their loft room with nothing separating their bed from the toilet and shower - NOTHING! God only knows how they are still in operation! Pitch a tent if this is your last option, you will feel cleaner and safer!! ?

Very rundown and in need of A LOT of TLC. We originally booked to stay for 2 nights. Upon seeing the place, we found alternative accommodation. We booked a 2 bedroom villa at $410 a night. The estate as a whole is clearly in need of maintenance and TLC. Inside our Villa, the need for TLC and maintenance was even more dire. The inside was dusty, dirty and dilapidated. Our first instinct was to open windows and doors to let in some fresh air. The flyscreens however were full of holes, an issue with the wasp nests outside. We ended up with several wasps inside. Every surface was littered with dead insects, including on the exposed bed linen, which was also stained. The list of maintenance required inside goes on and on...
The restaurant promised by the website hasn't been operable for a while I would guess. It had the feel of a place that had been abandoned for quite some time (years?). The windows (inside and out) were covered in cobwebs, many had colonies of baby spiders. The lady we spoke to who said she looks after the place was pleasant to deal with and offered to come and do a basic clean. It is such a shame as you can see that the place has huge potential to be beautiful. I would return if I read about a reopening post renovations.
