I cannot say enough great things about our stay at Villa Empat Puluh Dua. We stayed as a group of 3 families (5 children, 6 adults) and it was the absolute perfect choice for us. The pool is spectacular and was a great place for our group to spend time. All the rooms were well appointed and there was plenty of space for all. We utilized the kitchen for breakfast and for snacks. It is well appointed with anything you could ever need to cook a meal. The location is absolutely spectacular. The views of four mile beach are unbelievable. Reaching the villa does require traversing a fairly steep hill by car, just a point to consider. Additionally, we walked into town for coffee some days with no difficulty getting back up the hill or driveway. It is a big climb but very doable, including for children. Overall, we had a truly amazing experience at the villa. Thilo and Alla were amazing hosts and were available for anything we needed. We had no significant issues that came up during our stay.

We stayed at Villa Empat for our wedding and it was absolutely perfect! Such a beautiful place to stay with amazing views, amazing pool, amazing gardens and everything you could possibly need. We really appreciated that all bedrooms have an ensuite and there was so much space that all our guests were able to have time to themselves with plenty of room in communal areas for us all to come together. Highly recommended!

A group of friends got together to celebrate 3 birthday. This house was the perfect place for what we had in mind. Plenty of room so we weren't in each others space but more than adequate when we did get together. Great views and easy access to the centre of town. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Most wonderful 70th birthday with family. Not so impressed with all steps..stairs so be aware there are lots of levels. Good lift to send bags up. View amazing. Rooms very Kenyan like. Loved it

Beautiful spacious private Villa,
Perfect for extended families, close to the beach and town and Flagstaff Hill walk. House manager welcoming and helpful. Amazing pool. Lovely luxurious stay.

There is no denying this is a beautiful house. However it does need some maintenance! It is not a suitable house in wet weather, getting to half the bedrooms drenches you from head to toe. We had water leaks, power outages and towel rails falling off. A fridge also wasn’t working and WiFi was intermittent at best. There are so many steps that you literally get tired from walking around the house. The caretakers based in Port Douglas are amazing and helpful throughout. The booking agent is quite rude and dismissive. I wouldn’t stay again as there are so many beautiful options in Port Douglas.

Most relaxing and beautiful place I have ever stayed at. Staff are so friendly and the place is simply perfect. The most stunning view I have ever seen. Worth every cent!!!
