I would have given this hotel 5 stars if it weren't for a very simple problem.

The pillows are absolutely awful.
They're humongous and extremely uncomfortable. I could not sleep even after I only had 3 hours of sleep the night before.

It got so bad, I had to call hotel staff for help and they were all extremely kind and helpful and agreed the pillows are ridiculous.

So for anyone staying at the view, please remember there are spare pillows in the cupboards because the one on the beds are made to potentially injure you.

Staff are extremely kind and helpful which is lovely.

Breakfast is 100% worth it and amongst the best I've had, so if you're thinking about it I would recommend booking it through the website.

Location is good, but not a fan of how you have to walk up a ramp to get to the entrance where you could be on a cars blind spot.

Unfortunately the trains do make a lot of noise

This is a great place to stay for the view of the harbour bridge . The rooms are small but are very nice , they have everything you need. The location is great as well. Only downsides are the rumbling trains all day that run beneath the hotel, if you are a light sleeper this is not the hotel for you. And the breakfast was very average , I would have liked a little more variety and was costly for what it was.

Fabulous views, and very confortably appointed room. Incredible location to access trains into the city. Trains were a good alarm clock in the morning.
Rain shower heads with very low water pressure the only negative.

Great hotel in exceptional location, with fantastic views and close proximity to everything (train, ferry, boardwalk, etc). Friendly and helpful staff, well appointed rooms, comfortable beds, all very clean and convenient. Very fair prices too, even with extra $ for parking, considering all the benefits, great value for money.
Notes: there was no microwave in the room; and there were trains passing right below, but with the windows closed, there's not too much noise really, just some vibration and distant rumble. Can still sleep well.

We booked this place as it was in our price range. It has absolutely exceeded our expectations and can’t believe we actually only paid what we did. The staff (Daniel in particular) has been super friendly and helpful. The buffet brekkie was delicious. We will definitely come back here again. Rooms are lovely, beds surprisingly comfy. Close to the quay. Highly recommended 🙂

Regular customer of the property and stayed here regularly however the quality of the rooms vary a lot from being very good to very poor. The staff at the reception is quite junior and can only apologize instead of solving problems. |Stayed in room 201 while paying for Harbour bridge view room was looking at terrace of houses and a car park. |Constant train noises and honking from the car park underneath made sure Ive slept NOT well throughout the night. |Worth the hype but make sure you get what you pay for when paying higher for the Harbour bridge view room.

We stayed in this hotel after a very long-haul flight from the UK. Our luggage was lost our car would not start and we ended up at reception at 9.30 am on a Saturday morning not ideal. The hotel did not have a room ready which normally would not be a problem but jet lag was really setting in after 33 flight hours. We fell asleep in the car park. We were able to get a room around 11.30 which was really appreciated and slept until 6 then a lovely dinner and sleep before our drive home early then next morning. The rooms were large ( harbour view room) clean and very welcome. Would we stay again definitely hopefully to appreciate it more next time.

Oh my goodness what a view from the room!!! First visit ever to Oz so upgraded to have a room with a view of the bridge!! I was not disappointed! Staff were amazing and ferries ran regularly (very easy tap on/off with card!)if you wished to go to CBD etc.|We opted for breakfast and that filled us up for best part of the day as the choice is extensive!….AND if you sat in the right place you could still see the bridge(which as you can tell I didn’t tire of!!)
