The main reason we won’t be going back is the bar staff. Their lack of enthusiasm, infrequent smiles, and clear reluctance to engage with customers really diminishes the overall experience. It's frustrating to see eye rolls while waiting to be served. They could significantly enhance their service to improve the situation. The atmosphere used to be wonderful, but unfortunately, one rude staff member can be enough to drive customers away, and in a small town, news of bad customer service spreads quickly.

This little old pub carries memories for me of my dearest friend my husband.
We always popped in for a quickie ,,,,,drink or lunch.and of course both !
Today I had lunch ,,and it was fantastic!
The staff are wonderful,I felt like I was back in time with my beautiful man.
I was actually with my girlfriend.
The staff member remembered me when my Kenny babe was in Gympie hospital,she offered me accommodation .
I had to drive back to tin can bay because I had a puddy cat at home 🏠
I will never forget your kindness x

Dirty glasses, rude service and the star liquor take over hasn't seemed to fix it was one of there gear office personnel was there too... avoid aviod avoid.....

After some major attitude from a staff member in reference to our party booking, the rest of the staff were quite friendly. The food was wholesome, honest pub food with proper garden salad and vegie buffet. Nothing pretentious, just a good feed.

My husband and I decided to give the Victory Hotel another try tonight after a not so good dinner here about 10 months ago as things can change We arrived and found our table we had reserved and my husband went to the bar got our drinks and unfortunately my rum had coke zero, not a great start. Then our meals came out in a reasonable time and the vegetables from the buffet were quite good and a great selection. My husbands chicken Kiev was reasonably good but my roast beef of the day was barely eatable, I struggled to cut through it with the steak knife and it was hard to chew. The amount served was very plentiful but terrible, gravy was ok. As we sat and I tried to eat my meal the table beside us had a few that had ordered the roast and by their comments between each other they were not happy either. The lamb cutlets that went to their table were dark golden brown and way too over cooked and weren’t being eaten either. The way money is at the moment I’m disappointed I wasted my hard earn’t money. I leaving this message to warn others. I’m not one to go and complain or make a seen, I’ll just never return.

Groovey little pub. Movement is restricted, dartboard end of the bar on the Wednesday nights, when two of the local Social darts teams do battle. It's a good night tho.
