Being a regular traveler, it is important to me that the location is within easy walking distance to restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Although Vibe has a full service restaurant with great menu choices it is good to be spoilt with choice. ||Service was great, rooms very comfortable and clean. Being handy to a railway station was also a bonus.

We arrived and our toilet did not flush we did come down to reception to notify staff, they sent up someone to look at the toilet who made us feel dumb since we were ‘not pushing the button hard enough’. We should not have to stand at the toilet for a minute to flush the toilet.The walls were dirty as well giving us a feeling that the room had not been cleaned to standard. Our beds did not reach the standard with two of my guests sleeping with just the doona. We were the moved to two new rooms which were perfectly fine and we were happy with to then be called 2 hours later to move to a third room. Interrupting our whole day.

“This hotel boasts a prime location, exquisite decor, and lovely amenities. However, it suffers from some recurring and maddening issues. Chief among them is the constant demagnetization of room keys, which left us stranded multiple times—stuck making back-and-forth trips or awkwardly trapped in elevators or at room doors.||||In the bathroom, you’re forced to choose between having water pressure or hot water, as achieving a steady stream at the right temperature seems to be an impossible dream.||||As for room service, it’s a mixed bag and far below the hotel’s supposed standards: completely erratic schedules, stained towels, unemptied trash bins, and hygiene products that were often not replenished. For the price and promise of this establishment, one would expect much, much better.”

My company booked this hotel for my Sydney visit in Nov 2024 at Vibe Sydney on Goulburn Street, and unfortunately, my experience was far from ideal. While the location is convenient, the amenities were lacking for a hotel in this price range. There were no basic amenities like a microwave or even a complimentary bottle of water, which are often standard in other hotels and even in other Vibe hotels in Sydney.

The bathroom was especially disappointing – the shower had a constant leak, and the water pressure was very poor. Additionally, the bathtub didn’t have a stopper, so using it was essentially out of the question. Overall, the facility felt poorly maintained and not up to the standard one would expect. It’s an average place at best, and I’d likely look elsewhere for better value next time.

Great spot , great rooms and super comfortable beds.
I always stay here for work but stayed a night between stints at my own expense.
Staff are super helpful and when I had a bit of a health issue they couldn’t have been more accommodating.
Highly recommend.

Nice room but drain in bath for shower didn't have enough slope to keep the rest of the bath dry. It's a minor thing. We ended up using bath map to channel water to drain near shower.
Easy access to light rail down to Circular Quay - 15 minutes to ferries.

We recently stayed at Vibe Hotel and while the location is very convenient, with many places and restaurants nearby, there were a few aspects of our stay that left us disappointed.

Firstly, I tried calling the reception the day before our stay to confirm some details, but no one answered the phone despite multiple attempts. This made it difficult to get in touch with the hotel in advance.

During our stay, we were looking forward to using the sauna and rooftop pool, but unfortunately, both were unavailable. The sauna was locked, and the pool was under maintenance and construction. I raised this issue with the Manager, who said they would get back to us once they had more information from the maintenance team. However, we never received any updates or follow-up regarding the pool’s availability.

Additionally, we could hear drilling noises from upstairs, which was a bit disruptive. Thankfully, the noise stopped before 6 pm, and since we were heading out, we didn’t request a room change.

Overall, while the location is great, the lack of communication and the unavailability of advertised amenities made our stay less enjoyable than we had hoped.

Worst Vibe hotel I've stayed in, the aircon was so loud it was like trying to sleep in a wind tunnel, and if you turned it off the room would get hot and humid. It seems they gave us an accessible room even though we didn't request it. The shower was not contained which meant that every time I showered the water splashed everywhere, including the towels and toilet paper. In addition to this, the room had no place to put your items in the bathroom, nowhere to hang your clothes away from the shower or a place to put some toiletries on. Room service was not done on our first night, despite the fact we left the tag on the door requesting it. Great location and the staff were helpful, but overall, the facilities were poor. Also, be prepared for a lot of noise as there is a huge construction site right next door and the sound proofing of the rooms is not great, for some reason there is a huge gap between the room's door and the floor.
