One of my favourite local cafes. A great menu. Always smiling faces serving. Fast service. Great quality and will do anything to tweak your order how you need it. I often dine in OR have take aways. The team are happy faces to start the day. Food is always great!

We come here several times a year to catch up with family over lunch and it's a lovely little spot. My go to is the deluxe beef burger which tastes incredible and fills me up every time. Great little local spot. It is a bit on the pricier side but it's definitely worth it

Great cafe. Nice ambience. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Can get busy. Plenty of parking in front of the cafe. Friendly service, tasty food and good coffee. My only complaint is the Strawberry Frappe was sickly sweet. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu.

Visited for a late light lunch and not disappointed by the Haloumi/Egg/Avocado roll - $12. Haloumi/egg cooked really well, fresh bun but perhaps slightly more than a smear of avo would be nice.

The people are friendly, cafe kept clean (possibly a bit less of the miscellaneous 'stuff' on various shelves laying around) and prices reasonable.

A good range of food items and a fridge full of various drinks.

Will try the coffee next time.

Be mindful when ordering your iced coffees or ice chocolates. If you order in to have your drink at the cafe the cup is half the size and volume of what you get when you get take away but you still pay the same price of $7.50. Sadly there was no reasoning with the staff member who I queried regarding this matter and he was quite defensive trying to justify the matter saying he has to pay staff and labour. I imagine the reoccurring cost of plastic cups would cost similar. Shame if you’re also trying to be environmentally friendly.

I love these folks. Is rare that I go because I'm usually hiking but it's nice to feel a bit of inner city vibe in the suburbs, without pretention. There is a good range of good food and the portions are ample. There are larger tables and, of course given the suburban location, you'll often get kids or family groups here that fit in fine. Open fronted with no steps so very accessible. I think the bathrooms are in back so I can't comment but as the small mall is serviced by council of assume it to be accessible. It's close enough to the local weekend Baseball/Cricket game and the Land Cove National Park

I haven't visited Vertical since before the pandemic. So nice to see that my favourite meal is still on the menu and hasn't lost any of it's quality or appeal. Bird Nest Salad with Grilled Haloumi, Croutons, Semi-Dried Tomatoes, Mixed Salad, Avo, Toasted Almonds, Lemon and Basil Pesto and 2 Poached Eggs is an extremely flavoursome treat. All of the components (and there's lots of them) combine perfectly. The dressing brings it all together. Thank you for a great memory hit. I also couldn't believe how busy it was on Easter Thursday. I had to wait a while to find a table.

Lamb Benedict is amazing and the coffee ☕ is absolutely awesome ?✌️, the staff although very busy they were super friendly, nice and helpful.
