AVOID THIS VENUE LIKE THE PLAGUE!

We ran a live music event here focusing on mental health in August 2024. The care-taker Faye was nearly impossible to deal with, right from the start. The venue itself was beautiful. Granted. However it was absolutely filthy upon arrival, so we spend an hour cleaning up before we could even start setting up. We left the place cleaner than we found it.
Unfortunately we were held responsible for the great deal of dust (months worth), snake skins, and dead spiders when care takers John and Faye decided to unlawfully withhold our bond.

When we questioned the above and requested evidence - Faye and John were beyond rude to us. We were treated in a way that we never expected to be treated by anyone, ever. They called us every name under the sun, swore at us, insulted our brand, screamed at us for asking them to stick to THEIR contract, and above all, it took us two weeks and a solicitor to get them to send our bond back.

We will never be dealing with this community hall again and we urge anyone reading this to do the same. There are so many other places on the coast that will not only provide a beautiful clean space for your event, but will also leave you feeling valued, and not completely ripped off, and abused.

What a shame such a beautiful part of the Sunshine Coast is absolutely ruined by the monstrous committee that represents it.

For Faye,
She allowed us to have the most magical evening at the hall. We were allowed to set up and create a beautiful event! Faye was flexible with all of our plans and was so kind to allow us to trial a set up months before hand. A beautiful Hall for a wedding and perfect amenities for a great night! We were able to have a food truck in the back and a vertical garden in that space. There was planet of room for drinks and food in the fridges. Which made a lovely night for our 60 guests. Thank you again Faye allowing us to use your venue!

The Verrierdale Hall hosts the very popular and very excellent Full Moon Dance every three months. What a great venue for all those slightly alternative music lovers, great atmosphere, great bunch of people! The hall itself is immaculately maintained and located in an excellent lovely forested rural location, well worth considering if you're looking for a venue for a gathering.

Great music. Friendly. Good new bands. Good crowd. Always an excellent night in the bush. Drinks are reasonable priced. Some Proceeds go towards keeping the hall in good condition. Volunteers at work.

The Verrierdale Hall hosts a Full moon Dance every few months. We went in April and saw the amazing Oka they didn't disappoint. We had an awesome time, but it is located in a fairly remote area and getting home was difficult and expensive.

Rustic barn feel, large outdoor but undercover bar area. Great atmosphere, decorates up well for weddings etc. Very low reasonable rates.
