We went there for the Australian Wearable Art Gala and it was excellent. Parking convenient, they had made as much under cover space in the alfresco area as possible given the pouring rains. Drink prices reasonable, bathrooms well equipped for the numbers of people.

If you want to feel like you’re at a American high school dance or talent show, where basketball nets would be on the walls & the wood floors are recently polished…. See a band here. The pop-up bar sells cans like a rodeo & the lights stay on all night…
Definitely not checking for fake IDs.
