My wife and I spent our wedding night at Vanbery Cottage and we absolutely loved it. It was so close to where we got married (Kooroomba Lavender Farm) so the location was ideal. The cottage was really cute and little touches like a breakfast basket and late checkout made it really special. We would definitely recommend this cottage for a romantic few days away!

We had the most wonderful time staying at Vanbery Cottage. It's a gorgeous old building that's been lovingly restored, cozy but with lots of storage and enough space to move, on a beautiful property. Vance and Beryl obviously take so much care with all the details! Everything is wonderfully maintained and very clean. There's lots of charming decoration but it stops short of being kitsch. The amenities provided are amazing; from the undercover car space, to the comfortable verandah furniture, to the extremely well equipped kitchen and bathroom - if you could even think to need it, it was there. ||We spent our mornings having tea and breakfast on the verandah watching the sun come up over the valley and our evenings in front of the lovely fireplace, the day in-between exploring the area. ||The area - and the property itself - is full of beautiful wildlife, especially birds! It's also blissfully quiet.||Vance and Beryl were totally welcoming but also left us to relax just by ourselves once we were settled, which is just how we like it.||||It really is an amazing place to visit, and the price is stunningly good. ||I highly, highly recommend choosing Vanbery Cottage when visiting the Scenic Rim.

Vanberry Cottage is beautifully decorated with wonderful views of the McPherson Range on both sunrise and sunset. Helen & Terry made us feel very welcome while still giving us plenty of space to enjoy the property, the home made cake and jams were also a real treat. It was a wonderful place to just to sit, relax, spot kangaroos, birds and read a good book. Really great place for couples to get away. Will definitely return when we need the next R&R break. Thank you!

Set in a private, elevated, rural location, looking out to mountains and paddocks, Vanbery Cottage offers a fabulous opportunity to get away from urban life. Although only a short drive to national parks with some spectacular drives and bush walks, one need not go anywhere to enjoy the landscape. ||New owners, Helen and Terry, warmly welcomed us to their gorgeous and well-appointed cottage which was very comfortable and clean. From a hammock on the verandah to a cosy lounge by the fire, there were numerous spaces to enjoy.||Around the area we appreciated the helpful advice of staff at the Boonah Tourist Information Centre, a well-stocked IGA supermarket, and a lovely meal at Austin House where the menu included a good variety of gluten-free options. We also enjoyed drives and walks in the nearby national parks. ||Certainly a place worth revisiting!|

Beautiful little cottage in the country for couples. Excellent view from the verandah. Beautifully set up and lovely gardens. There is a pool and multiple places to enjoy the view of the valley and mountains. Excellent location not far from Boonah and Mt Alford in the Scenic Rim. The host Helen is lovely and very helpful. Can't recommend this place enough - it is beautiful and very peaceful. You will love it!!

We stayed three nights at Vanberry Cottage to celebrate my partner's birthday. |This place is divine! The cottage itself is gorgeous with lots of timber and quality fitout. |Beryl has included lots of little extras to make your stay just that bit more special. Bath soaps, candles, coffee and other small things make a big difference. This place is immaculately cleaned and is totally private too. |The views are wonderful and the fireplace made cold nights a delight on the comfy leather couch. |We also went for a drive to nearby Boonah where you'll find some decent cafes and food and country stores. ||This cottage is a credit to the owners. We'll be back!

An exceptional cottage farm stay. Lovely location with stunning views, tastefully decorated and every possible need thought of, Vanbery Cottage is truly a luxurious country getaway. Helen and Terry are excellent hosts, and Helen’s delicious homemade lemon bread brought back childhood memories.
