Our family had a lovely 2 night stay. We were made to feel very welcome. The three course breakfast was delicious. There was lot of little extras like some fruit and nibbles in the room for free! Beds were comfortable and a bonus was beach towels being provided. The two bedroom accommodation had a rather large lounge and dinning room and outdoor table for breakfast. We were so full from the lovely breakfast we had to ask for mini pancakes as the third course. Bruce does a lovely ice pineapple drink. Thanks

I had the loveliest time at this beautiful bed and breakfast. I felt very cared for and pampered by the hosts (and their friendly little dog) who went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Food was abundant and nourishing. Swimming in the pool overlooking the valley during a summer rain was a balm to the soul after a long day’s work. Paradise! Thumbs up to Bruce for laughing at my jokes!! This is the best bed and breakfast I’ve stayed in, and I hope to be back soon.

I had the pleasure of staying in Valley View B&B's accommodation (Family Suite and both Queen Rooms) whilst on a 6 week work assignment. This hidden gem was perfect and had everything I needed. In addition to the plentiful amenities, I indulged in their complimentary chocolates, candles, and various snacks and drinks. The breakfast menu is both generous and delicious (I didn't sample everything since I did fall in love with the eggs benedict), cooked to perfection each morning at your preferred time. Some mornings I received a visit from Mitzi - the resident Shih Tzu Maltese cross pup - and we would take in the breath taking views together on the balcony. Nothing can compare to the hospitality and service I experienced from the hosts. Dawne is lovely and kindly catered to all of my dietary requirements, while Bruce went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable (setting up a lockbox for late arrival, having my receipts/invoices ready, giving me a ride to work one morning when my Uber cancelled, sharing his supply of Panadol when I came down with a fever on my last day there, and sharing his company with me during breakfast so I felt less alone during my time away from home). Superb, professional, kind and very accommodating. Thank you so much Dawne & Bruce!

Both Bruce and Donn were incredibly friendly and hospitable, providing exceptionally clean rooms, with many added anemineties. They were also able to provide a small breakfast for us to take on the road, despite a 5am start, showing great ability to be accommodating. The room itself was very spacious and clean, leading a great place to relax in Newcastle. We also loved the additional visits from their two dogs, Mitski and Timmy! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the entire stay and would recommend anybody to stay here, and we too will be visiting again

My partner and I loved every moment at this beautiful bed and breakfast. The hospitality of Dawne and Bruce were outstanding and they made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The pool was great and the complimentary breakfast each morning was 10/10. We will definitely come back!

The Valley View B&B is without a doubt the best B&B we have ever stayed at. We were fortunate enough to have stayed for four nights experiencing the wonderful hospitality provided by Dawn and Bruce.||||Upon our arrival we were greeted by Dawn who showed us through our accommodation. We walked into a large open lounge area that was beautifully decorated. This room has a large flat screen tv along with a dining table, generous sized coffee table and beautiful leather corner lounge. The ceiling in this room is amazing and makes the area feel huge.||||Next was the large ensuite bathroom with good sized shower recess, and very long double vanity and loo. Heated towel rails and heat lamps were a lovely inclusion. The walk in wardrobe was very big. The master bedroom was beautiful and the shutters on the windows leading to a Juliet balcony were a brilliant touch.||||The bed was so comfortable and having a selection of pillows to use made for an excellent night's sleep. ||||After being shown the amenities we walked out to the large outdoor deck complete with water fountain and an amazing view over the pool area and the undulating verdant green 3 acres that this property is situated on. The trees all over the property house a wonderful variety of bird life.||||Once we congratulated ourselves on finding such a perfect place to stay we were offered afternoon tea by Dawn. This was much more than a cuppa and a bikkie. It was a full on high tea. Just amazing.||||Each morning we were welcomed by Dawn with breakfast on the outdoor balcony. With the perfect weather we experienced it would have been criminal not to enjoy the al fresco incredible three course breakfast cooked and presented by Dawn.||||We really had some great chats out on that balcony with our hosts. ||||When it came time to leave it really felt like we were saying goodbye to family. We both got a big hug from Dawn which was just a wonderful way to say goodbye and start our journey home.||||I sincerely hope the next time we venture north to Newcastle that this beautiful welcoming little hideaway will be available. Thank you so much Dawn and Bruce for creating this gem.

Dawne and Bruce were lovely host. Comfortable rooms and the family ensuite has a great view of the valley. Dawne was very flexible to our travel needs and moved breakfast 30 mins earlier than normal for that. Breakfast was excellent! Highly recommended.
