The house is absolutely gorgeous and the area is amazing too!

However, during our 3 night stay (with 2 adults and 2 children) the hot water ran out mid-shower twice. The hot water didn’t return until the next day. This meant no hot water in the kitchen or main bathroom.

We contacted the help line who sent out an electrician (during our stay) and a plumber (after our stay). After we checked out, we were informed that the house runs on an off peak water system and you only get so much hot water each day. They didn’t know this before our stay.

No discount or compensation was offered and when I asked I was told that they’ve never had this issue before and implied that we must have used a ridiculous amount of water to run out. Essentially blaming us and not taking any responsibility. They said if we booked 2 further nights they would give us a third for free.

I found their apology insincere and quite rude.

There were also holes in the wall of one of the rooms from the rocking chair and one of the towel hooks was falling out of the wall.

Over all, the house is gorgeous, but it needs a few touch ups and the customer service does too.

Wow 🤩 did not want to leave.
The house is better than anticipated.

Such a tranquil spot being In Cloudehill Gardens and having access to the garden anytime was great.
Magical waking up and seeing the view.
Great place to entertain and if you don’t want to cook, the food at Seasons (at Cloudehill) was delicious.
We enjoyed the close proximity to the botanical gardens and the township of Olinda, but you are far enough away for peace & quiet.
I would love to stay again 🦋

This was such an amazing location and atmosphere to stay at. I felt like I was in Downton Abbey. The garden in the estate is stunning to wake up to each morning, and the cottage itself is so beautiful with an extremely comfortable bed, and lots books, games and cds to enjoy.
The cottage makes a perfect romantic stay, but I used it for a writing getaway and the atmosphere was extremely conducive to this.
The staff were also lovely and extremely helpful in getting me a fire starter when I ran out. My only suggestions would be to add herbal tea options ( peppermint and chamomile) and full cream rather than reduced fat milk. It would also be nice to include a simple breakfast option with fruit if this were possible, so you could enjoy breakfast on the terrace for instance without having to go out. I think Prosperpina bakery is near which would be a great option.

Location was good, house is needing some TLC and the Jacquzi needs repair too..not all jets worked properly.
Customer service with valley ranges getaways is very poor. Very overpriced.

Boyanda is a magnificent property and our family recently spent a wonderful weekend there. The upstairs living area is large and open with plenty of room for everyone. It has a beautiful fire for added ambience and has spectacular views - especially from the huge picture window. Bedrooms are downstairs and are spacious and the beds are really comfortable. There is also a large living area downstairs so lots of room to spread out if needed. The gardens are also spectacular. We had great communication from the host Emilia at all times - nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend this property.

Franklin Cottage Sassafras a little out of the way, but still a fabulous location & a beautiful property.
Love the Hamptons interior Cleanliness was exceptional.
You need a car as not close to anything.
A place to relax & chill, romantic getaway ❤️

Wow, what a beautifully presented cottage, gardens, and facilities. The quietness and serenity was just amazing to allow us to be relaxed and enjoy our weekend away. Highly recommended and we will be back.

Lovely house, beautiful location, but the company managing the home are completely unreasonable and simply seeking profit. The house was missing listed items when we arrived and the expectations once we left we’re completely unreasonable, adding cleaning fees for items we didn’t use, or things we already cleaned before leaving. Lacks the personal elements and thoughtfulness of other AirBnB’s, with the pedantic property mangers clearly only concerned about profits, not your experience. Need to deep clean before leaving if you wish to stay here, or just don’t touch anything.
