The two bed cabin facing the public park is modern, comfortable clean and well equipped. The verandah has table/chairs plus two comfortable seats. Have stayed twice now in similar time period and had great weather both times. Easy walk to beach across walkway bridge (always see plenty of fish in creek). It is a very popular dog beach though but there is a dog free section to the left of the walkway. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely location and cabins very clean also the bbq area and pools. The older cabins could do with some painting to make the park look more attractive and we ran out of gas at the bbq area on the Sunday with no staff to get a refill a bit of love and care on the cabins would make it a beautiful spot very peaceful

One of the loveliest parks and spots we've ever stayed. Lots of grassed drive thru sites, plenty of space from other vans. Dog friendly beach short walk away, great coffee van, plenty of clean amenities and seems to only attract responsible travellers and dog owners. Will be back

The pictures online are nothing like the cabin we had. Dog friendly std cabin for 2 nights, approximately $150/night. Very very basic, no where to hang or put clothes, microwave in broom cupboard, small bar fridge, small rusty electric cook top, bathroom was big but only had a small basin in corner, no vanity or place to put even a tooth brush. Curtains barely cover the windows and dont block out the light. I could go on but i think you get the idea. These are old school camp cabins that have been converted.
They may have other better dog friendly accommodation but ours was very sub standard

The camping was OK with nice, large grassy sights. Amenities likewise. The camp kitchen could do with an upgrade, though. I liked Mother Duck proving swimming lessons in your pool.

The cabins are very badly maintained. They are very dirty.
We unfortunately booked 3 cabins for our road trip to Sydney.
The toilet broke and drained out on the bathroom floor at 10pm, and we were without a toilet until they opened another cabinet 5am. Besides the horror of being stuck in a room where toilet water was all over the floor ( we all got sick after that)
We were given a 15 dollar discount on a second cabin on the way back, and the hot water system did not work in 1 of those cabins. After 3 calls, no one came.
They came when my daughters locked themselves out of their cabin but not for my hot water system.
The manager is rude, lies, and gaslights you, She changes the narrative and argues and refuses to refund our money.
I'm escalating this with consumer affairs.
As I asked the manager for a full refund on 1 cabin out of 3 and was refused. 2 cabins out of the 3 i paid for had major issues.
NO TOILET
NO HOT WATER
DO NOT STAY HERE
1 star is too much.

Sadly this place is not what it used to be for campers. Camp sites are decreasing while prices are sky rocketing but there is no value for money here. Playground, mini golf and arcade games area have all been removed so nothing but a basic pool with no shade for kids. No communal camp kitchen or BBQ areas. Shower blocks are reasonably clean (at least the ones furtherst from the lagoon and beach is), but getting a hot shower is a gamble. The Woolshed is falling apart and bar and catering services no longer used to be. There is no boom gate which means the public can freely come and go as they please and you have to ensure that your valuables are very secure otherwise they have been known to disappear. Also, no security guards patrol around at night.
For a newly owned NRMA owned park, it's a pretty sad affair compared to other caravan parks unfortunately especially as I've been going here for over 20+ years.
