Dealing with this band was perfection at every step - availability, email communications, helping us choose songs, order of events, and then on the day - things ran seamlessly. As a first time Mother of the Bride, I offered to ‘find a band’. Seriously, how hard could that be? ‍♀️

There are many excellent performance artists in the Hunter area, so it really is quite overwhelming - but WOW find a band I did, when we engaged Uptown.

From my first dealings, Ben has been delightful, professional and so accommodating. The Uptown crew made a perfect celebration even more perfect.

From the ceremony vocalist, to the dinner music, the bridal dance and the last reception song, the music created an atmosphere full of joy, love and fun. We danced all night!

The vocal rendition of ‘Can you hear the love tonight’ for the wedding ceremony was just sublime ❤️

We can’t thank Ben and the Uptown performers and crew enough for making it such a special time for Georgia, Chris and all our family and friends. The compliments on the entertainment keep rolling in.

Uptown provided their expert services for our wedding (Hunter Valley October 2024) and absolutely knocked it out of the park. From acoustic duo during the ceremony, jazz trio during canapés and rocking band during the reception they covered it all. Our guests were fully entertained and we received so many positive comments. Uptown was absolutely amazing! The band music blended beautifully to our wedding vibe, and Ben as MC made sure everything on the day run exactly to plan so we didn’t need to worry! Ben is also a great DJ and is able to read the crowd to ensure all the songs he plays matches the vibe! Everyone at our wedding was amazed and commented on Uptown’s brilliant organisation, passion and talent they showed. I would recommend these guys to anyone needing a band, MC or DJ at their wedding!

Tom sang and played acoustic guitar at our wedding ceremony. Tom has an unbelievable singing voice. He was very professional and set up all his equipment well in advance and provided a microphone and speaker for the celebrant to use.

Then Ben and the 6-piece band played at the wedding reception. These guys were seriously good. Amazing musicians but also read the room perfectly matching the vibe and energy. They were very professional, all the timings were perfect and they even learnt some specific songs we requested.

Jared and I simply cannot thank Uptown enough for playing at our wedding in November 2023.
Uptown absolutely SMASHED it! Not only were they easy to deal with, they know how to read the room, the guests going nuts for the entire night and they even learnt songs very last minute, Jared and I forever cherish my first dance song which they absolutely NAILED!

Oh my goodness! What an amazing group of people. They made our wedding night a night to remember from the beautiful acoustic duo during our ceremony and cocktail hour to being the main event of our reception, we couldn’t have asked for a better band! They were everything we hoped for and more.
The dance floor was going all night and they were so quick to adapt to an impromptu musical number from the groom and they were the best hype people and kept us dancing all night long.
Ben was amazing from the time of booking, he was always so quick to reply to any questions and kept my mind at ease during the lead up to the event.
