We walked in and were greeted by friendly staff. The pub was a small old style experience. The meals were lovely and large portions. The drinks made by the barmen were fabulous and the guys were great to talk to. If we come back to Broken Hill I would go back for sure.

Lovely meal at the Bistro after tasting some spectacularly good gin at the distillery. I like the fact you can order a half schnitzel!! Nice local pub atmosphere, friendly staff and good food.

Lovely old pub. Food was good although they stuffed up the orders. My steak was cooked perfect but they put the wrong sauce on it, I ordered mushroom but they drowned it in pepper sauce. My Mum's meal we payed extra to make alterations due to food allergies and then they still gave her what she couldn't eat and not what we altered but after a long drive of over 700km that day we couldn't be bothered sending it back.

Just had a very nice meal at the Tydvil. Lovely old pub and bistro. Meals were well cooked and very tasty, granddaughter loved that her medium/rare steak was actually medium/rare. My grilled bara was really good too, and topped off with lime cheesecake, good meal.

I enjoyed the Bangers and Mash with a delicious beef gravy. It just took a really long time to come. Our party was 6 people and it all came together which was great. I think there were a lot of people in the garden restaurant area because it was just us inside..

Had a real treat for dinner last night as the calamari was soft and lightly maize crumbed with home made chips and a simple salad. My husband enjoyed his Mexican schnitzel with a jalapeño zing he loves. We chose the pub bc reviews were positive and it was well worth the 3km scooter ride from the caravan park. Lovely outdoor area as well as big bar and separate restaurant. All areas were busy but service was quick and staff professional and attentive. Highly recommend.
